How much do you spend on ponies?

ohhh gaaawwwd
i hate this topic!!! ahahahahah!!!
such a fine line between pony joy and shoppers remorse!!!
um... in the hundreds i would say, per month
but i dont really spend $ on anything else other than bills
no clothes or eating out type stuff
and i sell a lot too :)
at least thats what i tell myself when i feel too guilty about what i just spent LOL

When I first started collecting? Waaaaay too much. After a year, yes, a year (hehe) I've gotten better about it. Now I spend anywhere between nothing to $40 a month. This month I won't buy any ponies, but maybe next month I'll look out for 1 or 2 ponies I want. I've tried to cull my thirst for them, but to be honest, the only thing that works is getting my wish list down a little bit.

Some people only spend what they have in their paypal- so they have to sell on ebay or here to get money to buy ponies. Of course trading helps too.

oy too much... Well, not lately... I've tried to stop the bleeding a bit.
But this summer was too much. What with all the fair ponies I got and completing my diva set (minus Trolley and Frisco)
I don't think I'll be buying much more than $15.00 worth of ponies per TWO months, at least until I sell off some things.

Much too much. I don't even want to think about it. BUT I have bought my own birthday presents this year with my PP account (with Mum and OH giving me the money back) as I saw a couple of grails and needed them. I haven't got them yet though as isn't my birthday till the end of the week!

And I did spend a silly amount of money on a MIB kitchen playset but I had just sold a load of ponies on eBay so the money was in my PP account.

The rest I am just not thinking about...

This month? Nothing lol. Its all I can afford but normally between £20 and £50 depending how much I have spare.

I go in spurts. One minute I don't spend a dime, the next month I spend a few hundred lol this month I only spent less than $20 I think.

Wish I had endless pony money though!

Ohhhh man. LOL I hesitate to answer, because its sometimes alarming at the amount we spend, if we look through the year. I am a little embarrassed to say it, but i have spent in the thousands this and last year.

....everything I really want on ebay always goes from $100-$200 and up, and then the smaller things in between really add up. At least I have a collection I absolutely love to show for it.

And I dont have a ton of bills to pay yet thankfully- I dont own a home/apt, im not married, no kids, etc- so that always frees up extra disposable income, ya know?

It really varies. I try to spend less than $30 a month on them. Shipping included. lol. Although I have had the privledge of coming into a small inheritance this year, so I was able to spend a little more and get some ponies I couldn't have afforded anyway. My husband is always surprising me with ponies on my birthday and Christmas too.

I go in cycles earlier in the year I had plenty of extra money and I was selling a lot too so I bought a lot. Then I had a break and didn't buy at all because I ddin't really have the funds for ponies so I only did a few trades and the last few weeks I've been off and buying again. When I have no money i never go on Ebay or the sales boards because that one pony you really want or never turns up will be there - it always happens!

I gotta say that I'm in the same boat, MLPWhitney! At least we can be embarassed of our pony spending together, lol!!

I've collected myself into a corner, so to speak. Most of what I'm looking for is *really* expensive. I've completed my US collection, nearly completed my UK/Europe collection, and have most of the reasonably priced variants (Nirvana's)... so, yeah on to the expensive stuff.

I've probably spent between $300 and $500 this year. That's really weird for me, I would say I usually spend less then $100 per year. This is also the year when I've had the least disposable income. The company I was working for went out of business last January and I've only been working part time since. My husband and I are doing fine but I don't buy much that's not essential. I haven't bought any new clothes in more than a year. So what's the deal with the ponies? Somehow we always come up with the money for ponies. Maybe I've spent more because I've discovered pony meets and I have more free time to search Ebay . . .

I tend not to buy anything unless it's a bargain - even if there's a pony I really want I'll hunt ebay until it comes up really cheap! Adds to the satisfaction when you get a pony for half of what it's really worth :D

Usually between 25-50 Euro... rarely a little more. I'm trying to cut back atm since we want to finally purchase a car, but it's hard, lol.

Sigh... it ocmes and goes to be honest.

I usually try not to spend more than I have on my paypal account, and it usually works out pretty well. I usually sell a lot of more common ponies and save up money for when I find a more htf/expensive one and I can afford it.

However, there's always flea markets and thrift shops, and I usually spend anywhere from $40 to $80 in those alone.
