How rare/HTF are the mail order baby Embers?

Hi, I need help from G1 experts please! I am no G1 expert, so I'm hoping someone can clue me in one how many baby Embers there are, and if any are rarer or HTF?

They are not that rare or hard to find. In fact, most large lots on ebay will have one in them. There are three symbol-less embers (mail order). They are blue with blue hair, pink with purple hair, and lavendar with pink hair. As for their value, I'd say around $5 each. Here's some more info. My Little Pony Special Offers -- Page 1 of 3

There's also a lavendar ember with purple hair and white star symbol. She came with a book and read-along tape and was sold in stores. I'd say she's a little more than the mail orders, maybe $8? (More info towards the bottom of this page) Year 3 - Ponies (1984-1985)

Ember's pose is popular with baby ponies so there are lots in that particular pose. I think it's such a cute pose for babies.

I agree with jljb. In my experience, they are not HTF. I do commonly see at least one of those MO gals in large lots, etc. I believe the one sold with the cassette tape Ember's/Amber's Dream is more HTF. (She's the one with the white star symbol.) I also happen to like her a little better.

I wouldn't pay more than $5-$6 for the MO Embers personally.
 
Yes, definitely not hard to find. The pink one, lavender one and blue one all without symbols are mail orders and the purple one with a star came with a tape. I'd say the one with the star is the hardest to find, and I'd put her at around $8-$10. The mail orders are somewhere around $5-$8.
 
I know someone at the fair was looking for them and I think she was able to get all 4. From what I understood the one with the star, lavendar/purple one I think was the hardest to find and the cassette tape was extremely hard to find for her.
 
I'd say about the same as evryone here. They're more easy to get, except for the star ember.

Regular Embers: $5-8-- the higher end of that goes for mainly the purple Ember, who is hard to get without greying/head and body not matching.

Star Ember: $6-9- She's more HTF, but personally I can't justify $10+ on her.
 
I always wondered about them too. I'm happy to know it should be too hard to find them. :)
 
I'd say the Baby Embers are among the Mail Order Ponies which are easiest to find and also cheapest. I was very lucky once and managed to buy the blue and pink Ember for only 1€. A real bargain.

Okay, I'm REALLY pleased then, as I just won a minty blue baby Ember and a minty lavender baby Ember for only $3.25 each!! So I think that is a good deal based on your suggestions! :)

I missed out on the pink baby Ember...I wasn't paying attention very closely to the end of the auction, and was outbid -- but it went for over $5.00+ so it wasn't as good a deal as the other two, I guess.
