Hi everyone! I'm Star! I'm new to collecting ponies, but I had a handful of them (G3) as a kid and used to love the specials. I was a big fan of G4 back in the early 2010s, but I never really got much merchandise from it. After looking up how to fix up some Barbies I have, I decided to also fix up my ponies and realized how much joy I get from fixing old toys. Specifically, I fell in love with watching videos of people cleaning ponies and decided to start collecting old ponies and give them some TLC. Since then, I've been working on growing my collection and fixing the ponies I already have. And hoping that I can find the rest of my G3s in my attic
I like all the generations in some way, so it's hard for me to choose a favorite. They all have something special, so it's impossible for me to choose! G1 and G3 have the most ponies that appeal to me, but I love the artwork and more horse-like designs for G2 and I love the characters and TV show from G4. The only one I don't have plans to collect is G5 because I don't personally find the toy design very appealing, but maybe they'll get their footing later on or I'll change my mind or find some used ones that I feel sorry for. Anything could happen!
Anyway, I'm very glad to be here and look forward to talking ponies with you all!
