least favorite G1??

i've got to say it's no pony... BUT the pony i dislike (not hate) the most is baby shady. she's so....bright...The creepy eyes make it worse.
 
I'd say TE galaxy. I think it was the first picture I ever saw of her put me off. There's also those ponies (princess ones I believe) with the huge eyelashes. Looks more like they have spiders on their face. Bleh.
 
I don't really like any of the sweetberry ponies. Their color combinations aren't my favorite, but I don't like Raspberry Jam in particular. I also don't really like SS Scrumptious. Maybe it's just that green hair! :tongue:

i started this thread in 2008.... like a week after joining here... which was the beginning of my collecting...
lets put it this way... when i started this thread i had no idea that there were UK ponies or any other country for that matter!

but i still agree with my 2008 MLP noob self.... i still thinkg majesty is one of the least beautiful ponies lol!

You must've made a good thread! I totally have to contribute... there are some times, I think to myself that there are some darn ugly g1's out there. XD

Let me look some up... Sunbeam. The body shape and the paleness.
Powder. The lavender body with the abrupt streak of flaming red in the hair. Barf!

That should be good for now. Those are examples of ones that make me go "meh". The body shapes, and pale/abrupt colors...

Least favorite pony... Hmm... I mostly don't care about certain ponies rather than downright not liking them.

I don't like any pony with Moondancer's pose, for one, and the BBEs do absolutely nothing for me.

I also struggle to like the Prom Queen Sweetheart Sisters for being based on something so unabashedly American, which is a bit awkward to me, but mostly because they remind me of high school. I hated, hated high school, and still cringe at the thought of it 7 years after leaving. Pretty Belle gets a free pass, though, for having overall pleasant colors and looking absolutely gorgeous with her hair straightened out, as seen here. *swoons*

For some reason I cannot discern, I really, really don't care about So Soft Buttons. Well, TAF Buttons looks pretty bad, and I like her even less, but SS Buttons is just... Odd. I like pink and blue, and unicorns, so in theory she should appeal to me... Even stranger, I do like Baby Buttons a lot, I just don't have her in my wishlist because she's WAY too expensive.

Haha! I KNEW there was a reason I didn't like her! I never could put my finger on it :LOL:

I also agree that Magic Message Windy is waaaay down on the list. I never liked her colors plus the "magic message" (on mine anyway) looked like a super ugly grey blob.

Princess Royal Pink would have to be my number 1 least favorite. Creepy. And Princess Royal Purple and Baby Frosting are pretty close seconds. I'm also not too crazy about the Rockin' Beat ponies, especially Pretty Beat.
 
Here's an idea- send all the ugly ponies to me so I can customize them. :tongue:

Those giant newborn ponies, hope to never to find them XD
 
I'm not a huge fan of the Perfume Puff ponies, the fact that it's pretty much impossible to brush their hair bothers me.
Also, I think that their hair just looks really weird in general....
 
Not so much the pony, but the pose. TE Quakers has that horrible pose that makes it look like she is going to trip over her feet.
And BBE Baby Shady. Horrible colours made more horrible with blinky eyes.
 
I don't like the Mermaid Ponies and those with the knob on their chest.
I do have two different versions of Majesty and one has definitely more hair, I like this one more.
I also think Mimic is not the prettiest one because of her pose (i hate that pose) and she is way easier to find than many other ponies.
There are also some baby ponies they rather look like flying pigs than horses.
