So this is our VERY last weekend up here in the great state of Washington. We fly home to Texas on Friday, May 4th. I will surely miss all the Value Villages around here. So I asked my husband if he would take me on one last shopping spree today and so we hit up all the ones that I knew of in the North Seattle area and THIS is what I found:

Value Village - Redmond

TWO MIB Ponyville toys from McDonalds along with a MIB TMNT figure from McDonalds and an Adrian Beltre train!! Each bag was only $0.99!

Value Village - Totem Lake

YAY!! A PLUSH PINKIE PIE!! She's PERFECT and I didn't have her!! Got her for $0.99. Also got a plush Cozy Heart and a Sunny Daze I both for $0.99 each!! AWESOME!

Value Village - Lake City

Found both a G1 Baby Starburst and a vintage mini Scrub-a-dub Doggy in a bag of misc toys for $1.99 and also found this bag with Wysteria II, Baby Romperooni and McD Pinkie Pie for only $1.99 as well!

Value Villages being good to me so far!! Now we're on SR-99 and can't drive down that road without hitting Aurora Antiques. They've gotten some new stalls in there and this time I took a RIGHT instead of my normal LEFT and whom do I find?

Why...NONE OTHER THAN MS. ANCHORS AWAY!!!

I thought the seller might know what they had since she was locked up in a cabinet, so I checked the price tag...$8.00!!!!! My heart dropped and I said to myself, "YES!!!!" I quickly scoped the rest of the place out stopping at all the other stalls that I normally check out and then I headed to the checkout to get somebody to help me out. After I had Anchors Away in hand, I headed back to pay for her. Get up to the register and WHAT? More good news?? Everything in that stall is currenly 40% off? *dies* Good thing because all I had left in my wallet was five dollars and some change. She ended up costing me a whoppin $5.23!

THAT totally made my day. Everything after this find was just going to be a bonus. YAY!!!!! *dances around* Okay...moving further down the road.

Value Village - Edmonds

Who can't resist South Park characters? Got the talking mad scientist plush STILL with his tags for only $2.99! And his voice box still sounds good!

Value Village - Lynnwood

This place I scored quite a few goodies. Got me another 13" vintage Birthday Bear for only $2.99. And check this out! Got the CB figure carrying case for only $1.99! It's in WONDERFUL shape too! Also found a cute So Soft plushie Junebug for $1.99 and these AWESOME clipboards! Both were in a bag for $0.99! There's Pinkie Pie and Sparkleworks. I had never seen them before, so I was totally stoked!

And right next to this store is the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop.

Scored the G1 Baby Buggy (sadly couldn't find the umbrella) for only $0.99

and grabbed this bag of lots of misc toys for only $1.99. Does anybody recognize any of these characters? The Paul Bunyon and raccoon characters go together because their hats are the same and they both say CPG 1982 HK on them. You can squeeze the raccoon and there's a hole in his mouth and I guess he either squirts out water or just blows air. The Paul Bunyon guy is the same way on his head. The floating raft and beach sets all have the same things written on them. It says Made in Hong Kong for Evenflo Co., Ravenna, OHIO. Now you may be wondering why I picked up a bag full of weird old toys that I have NO idea where they're from. Well, I didn't buy it for them...I bought it for...

THESE!!!

YAY FOR SEEWEES!!!

Not bad for all these things for a measley TWO BUCKS!!

So these are my finds. They are all staying with me at the moment because they'll all be packed away in a storage facility until we find a house in Texas. However...Anchors Away will be flying with me. I won't be parting with her right now. I know, I know...I already have one...well, two...ALRIGHT, I already have THREE Anchors Aways (one IS mine), but I want to get good and settled in before I start selling and trading again. For some reason I've just gotten lucky and have gotten several of these girlies. My husband says that they don't feel rare to him anymore. :p

And that is my last set of finds in the good ole state of Washington. It's been fun.

That is sooooo awesome!

I'd love to find Anchors Away for so cheap. I love her. Did yo have her before?

I had three before and now this one makes four. Here they are all lined up! I've actually had five total, but I traded one to somebody in the UK for the SLH exclusives. I managed to get these three all within the month of April! The one on the far left is mine and I'll be parting with the other three after we get moved into a new house in Texas. Like I said...I've just gotten really lucky I guess. But I'm super-happy about it! :D Keep your eyes peeled! They are out there to be found!

Your finds sound great! I can't see the piccies though :(

I wish I could find Anchors Away like that D =

You are too lucky... =P

*stals an Anchors Away* She's got four, she won't notice for awhile at least!! I don't know what they are but in the second to last piccy (before the one with the SeeWees, which are awesome BTW) I know I've played with the fisherman and the mermaid thing before. I can't tell ya anything about them but I know I played with them once upon a time.

This is going to sound REALLY SAD, but...um I was there in January and saw that Anchor's away...and didn't realize who she was afterwards....*slams head into wall* lol, I'm glad someone on here got it tho, I was just up there for a week visiting, so I only got to go there once...under discussion titled "the one you left behind" was dated january 9th lol.

Wow! She's been sitting up there for THAT long!? No wonder she was on sale! :p I'm sorry you missed your chance at getting her. That really does stink. I'm sure there'll be another time though.

:) s'okay, I'm not really a G3 collector, so I would have just sold her anyway, or traded her for some G1s :D But I kept looking at her, then looking at my already $70+ pile of ponies and nursery that I already had set aside, then went home and looked her up and sure enough she WAS one I should have bought...go figure, but hey, I can't complain about 70 dollars worth of pony goodness that I want to keep not sell either

wow those are some amazing finds!!!! I so wish I went out this weekend to look for stuff!!!

OMG how do you find hauls like that? I *never* find much when I go thrifting. I havn't found a pony in months!

Woa! You have 4 of Anchors Away?!

Anyway, congrats on all your finds!! I need to go to more thrift stores/flea markets!!! :p

Sometimes I miss Washington thrifting, it's usually deliciously successful.

No wonder those of us who live in WA can never find anything. People come in from other states and take it!

Great finds there! I'm impressed.
