Well, today I turned 22 on the 22nd. (I think they call that your magic birthday!) This morning was rough. I was so tired that I completely forgot it was my birthday until later that morning. I was driving to class at 8:00 am, when this huge, huuuuge SUV almost crashed into my driver's side door. It would have crushed me in the process, probably causing deadly organ damage, if not instant death. I was paralyzed with shock and my hand would not honk the horn no matter how loudly my brain yelled at it to. Thankfully, the SUV swerved back into its lane without so much as a scratch. That's when I thought, "How ironic it would be to die on my birthday!" Needless to say, I am very appreciative of my birthday this year.

I got some awesome birthday gifts from my doubly awesome family and boyfriend. I thought they'd make a nice show 'n' tell.

Here they are. Drumroll please..............

Paradise from my boyfriend. She rocks. I love her to bits.

Plate, cup, and bowl from my boyfriend. (He got these way back in August.) These came from a grocery store called Ingles. I didn't see them in my home town. I have not used them yet. I'm trying to decide whether or not to display them or to use them. Even then, I wouldn't know how to display them.

Awesome metal lunch box from my boyfriend. This is bea-u-tiful! Anything with Moonstone is alright by me!

Gumball bank from my boyfriend, book from my little sister:

The gum is pretty good, by the way ;)

I put my baby G3s on my bank, I think they fit nicely:

A couple o' awesome fakies my older sister got for me. I have always wanted one of the G1 adult mold fakies. And the little flocked ones are darn cute too.

And lastly, a non-pony brag. My older sister got me J.D. Salinger's Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters and Seymour an Introduction.

Not only is it the hardcover, but it's the FIRST EDITION!
I absolutely adore J.D. Salinger. So this was an awesome gift for me.

Thanks for looking. I hope you enjoyed them as much as I have/am. I cannot believe I got so much for my birthday. Usually I get a couple o' books. I guess this year everyone knows I'm a hardcore collector, so they can't go wrong with pony-related things.

Wow you got a lot of great stuff. I love that tin lunchbox, soooo pretty. Happy belated birthday!! :D

Thank you, Sherbet!
Yeah, I really didn't expect that much. I about died when I got Paradise, then I kept being handed more stuff!

I almost feel bad for getting so much stuff.

The lunchbox was about $8 I think. Expensive!
But if you want to know where he got it, I'll find out for you.

great stuff!! OMG I would die for the metal luch box!!! XD

Wow awesome :D That lunch box has the same Sherbert pic as the new Hot Topic shirt :D

Wow, cool stuff! :D Happy birthday, btw. ;) Belated as it may be. :p

Thank all of you for the nice comments and birthday well-wishes!

I will find out the link to where my boyfriend got the lunchbox and post it here if anyone is interested.

I'm jealous of your Paradise! She was always one of my favorite pegasus ponies! Ahh... you have a good boyfriend. Haha. :D

I would definitely love to know where he got the lunchbox! It's so cute! I want one for myself, now! :D

What a haul! I mean, honestly! And a magic birthday! (I will feel so much older by the time my magic birthday rolls around... 26!) So happy birthday! SS Paradise sure is beautiful, isn't she? She really got me into the SS ponies to begin with. She's so BEAUTIFUL when she's not grungy. But so is SS Angel...

I'll try to find the link. He said he just searched for "My Little Pony lunchbox" on Google and found a site that was selling it. He doesn't remember which one! Go figure! ;)

Ooooh... I loved that lunchbox when I saw it on auction, gasp. I'd pay $8 for it no problem! X 0-) It's one of my favorite items I've ever seen!
And on top of that, great ponies, and a cool book! I'm a bookaholic myself, heh heh, so I can now be doubly jealous ; 0-) Just hope that rare first edition isn't so valuable you can't read it, or somesuch, heh. (Nice photos, too, btw, they look professional!)
