Isn't he neat? He's soooo pink! He's my second deflocked pony and I think he turned out pretty well. I was actually pretty proud of myself because I managed to keep his blush. I acetoned poor Wind Whistler's off on accident.

It's actually really easy! You just need pure acetone, some cotton squares, alcohol, and a fuzzy pony. Use the acetone on areas without paint and the alcohol on areas with paint. To make it easier I usually let some very hot water run over the pony a bit first to loosen it up some, but that's not really necessary.

She looks great deflocked, nice work!

I've tried deflocking once, but had a hard time with the painted areas. I didn't try alcohol though, I only had acetone. She looks great!

The flocked one has no stars just buttons and I don't think there's an SS Buttons with stars. It took an hour maybe 2 for me to start and finish her (except for her hair drying, that took over night). It's really not too hard if you have the right supplies. And I do my best to remove every bit of flocking and glue too, even inside the neck seam, and it still doesn't take too long.

So this imparts courage to attempt finishing the partly-deflocked SS SHady (she came that way) who stares at me from across the crowded room with accusing eyes...

Those two look great!

Actually CC is right, as far as I know there are 3 versions on Buttons in total:

There's your SS Buttons and two Non-SS Buttons, one has a normal symbol, the other has a symbol of buttons and stars :)

 I saw, woot @ syncronized posting, lol!

I totally heart the NSS stars and buttons symbol, it's just so cute :)

Wow, I love how gorgeous deflocked ponies look! I need to eventually get back to the Wind Whistler I started years ago. I just got fed up and quit lol

I know what you mean Bittie, I have 2 I started but never went back to. I had a hard time around the eyes and symbol, but like I mentioned I wasn't using alcohol. Kaoscat, the alcohol doesn't bother the paint at all???

Great deflock job! I have yet to be truly successful with one :)

She is so beautiful!
