NEW! TAF "New Look" ponies - Entertainment Earth

I like some of them. I don't really see why most people don't like them,even if they do look a bit like cat/duck hybrids,they're still cute.

nope, my extreme dislike of the "new look" ponies has not abated. These are just as ugly/disturbing as the others i've seen

Heads should not be bigger than bodies, ponies should at least look *somewhat* like horses...these...things...are just...gah...

Um, yuck. They're hideous.

This was something I was actually pondering the other day, that with the smaller bodies there's less room for symbols and innovation.

Those are some of the worst symbol patterns I've ever seen, it's like they're repeatedly stabbing my retinas through the screen.
 
The symbols just look like they've slapped on some MS Word clipart =\ Especially pinkie pie, so LAZY
 
While i'll admit that the G3.5's are growing on me, the fact that they are sticking with the core 7 is not. I don't mind the attempt at TAF ponies, but I wish they had been a limited run set. Like guest stars in a DVD or something.
 
True story:

Yesterday I was at Fred Meyer and I buzzed by the toy aisle (of course ;) ). It was all Core 7 stuff.

There was a mom there with her little girl—about four or five years old. Apparently the little girl had been promised a toy. The mom said, "How about a My Little Pony?" The little girl looked them over and said, "No . . . I want one I don't have."

And they moved on to look at other toys.
 
They are kinda cute but i wish they would get done with the core 7 already! At least pick a new set of 7 ponies

That DVD looks like it says, "Meet the Ponies", and we're already, what, almost 2 years into Core 7? How much more meeting are we going to be doing?


It sounds like the majority is saying, "No" to these ponies.
I think by the time the pony fair comes back to Providence, there might not be a pony line. Unless they drastically change this. I'd really like to see the numbers on ponies. How much they're making, if their sales are up or down since the change from awesome new ponies to Core 7. I know their girl toy sales are down, and I wonder if this has something to do with it.

Here's the thing, to me I don't even have any desire to own them. Most ponies I have some sort of inkling of desire for, but these? It's like looking at this all day: :*******: :skull1:

Ew, I really hate these new ones. They're a little too cutesy (more like creepy). I think they were perfectly fine before.

I'm also a bit tired of it only being seven characters now. what happened to the diversity?

Seriously, they need to give it a rest with these seven ponies. They've got hundreds upon hundreds of pony characters, so they don't have to even use their imaginations. Just pick seven random ponies from their huge line. Good lord, how lazy is hasbro getting? Come ON.
I certainly won't be buying modern ponies any more. Little girls are even tired of them!
 
I don't think that we need more ponies with their names on them!! Other than that, they all look adorable!!:tongue2:

I would not buy the New Look ponies, though it looks like Hasbro tried to "Chibi-fy" the ponies. It would be cute if they only did it one time.

And The core 7 is boring, They do nothing to help Hasbro's company.

More ponys!

I wnt to see true G3 Taffs, twinkle eyes, so-softs and boy ponies!

Come on Hasbro, give us different ponies, my wallet is begging to be emptied.
