Ribbons or No Ribbons?

This is a poll. Attention please! I'd like to know whether you prefer ponies with a ribbon in their mane or tail, or whether you prefer them without?


I think it depends on the pony, but usually a good ribbon makes a pony look so much better! It doesn't always have to be close to the original, but usually that looks best.

What do you think? Share pictures to back up what your opinion is... I love a good pony picture, ribbon or not!

Of course, it might also depend on the generation.
For one, I don't have any G2s that have ribbons. They didn't come with them, and their tails are so small!

I do have a few G3s with ribbons, but most are without.

And then there's always tailless, but still has time to make herself look all pretty, with the use of a ribbon:

Of course it also depends on if you're good at cutting and tying them, which I'm totally not! So my ribbons kind of look crappy. Show me some good-looking ribboned ponies!

I like ribbons only on a pony's tail. And I'm not too fond of ribbons on boy ponies. They just kinda look out of place...

Ribbons are fabulous! But I agree I only like them in the tail, in the hair they feel too busy, but in the tail they are great. Also great for hiding tail rust..... XD

most of the time ill take a ribbon off if it comes on a pony... i think mainly b/c hardly any of my ponies have them so i guess it makes the others feel left out and it kindve bothers me also being the perfectionist i am

Ribbons are great! All of my G1s get one if they enter my collection G3s whenever I think they will look good with one!

I love tail ribbons! Especially when I get a pony in the mail; it doesn't have to be the origional ribbon, but I think it adds a bit of a nice personal touch from the seller. If some one takes the time to make their ponies look pretty, they want you to be happy

I generally don't care, but I like my flutters and wingers to have ribbons, and I think my Brazil Milky Way has her original ribbon too. I'm afraid to take it off, let's put it that way!

I love tail ribbons! Mane ribbons well that depends on the pony, but tail ribbons are great. I really love the princess ones and the pretty ones the wingers had.

I put a ribbon on all of my ponies' tails, and sometimes I'll put one on their manes if the hairstyle asks for it. I just love how it looks, and I think it makes my ponies feel prettier too
