Typhoon Travelers
Welcome to a rousing game of Typhoon Travelers, only those most clever hearties can stand their ground. If you haven't already joined a pirate team (see the MLPTP Pirate Pillage), then you must jump the plank, for if ye don't show your true team colors, you will not be allowed to play! (Just a little pirate joking for you- anyone can play, but only those who have team spirit (AKA those who have joined a crew) will be able to try for the prize!) You get 10 points for every correct guess, and those points go to your team. However, if you win the most points for this game of Typhoon Travelers, you may win a prize for yourself!
Since this is the first game of the Pirate Pillage, let me explain that each member of the teams will score points when they participate, and points will also be awarded to the collective team based on how many points the individual members make. There will be an individual winner for each game (those who make the most points for that game) and at the end of it all, there will be one team that rises victorious based on how well the individual team members did.
Ok back to the game at hand!!
What is Typhoon Travelers, you may ask? Any pony lassie who was brave enough to sail the seven seas encounters a typhoon once in her lifetime, and these scallywags have had their share of the fierce winds. If you can figure out which ponies were caught in the typhoon, there may be a prize in it for ye.
So just look for the most up-to-date picture puzzle and try your hand at guessing who be they. Arghh!!!!
The first person to guess correctly gets the points, and then we move on to another picture puzzle. There will be 2 ponies in each puzzle. If you only guess one correctly, you will be given half the points. To get full points, you must guess both ponies. I will not give it away if only one pony is guessed correctly- I'll only let you know the true identities when both are guessed correctly by one person. The difficulty level will range from insanely easy to super duper hard! And you may see a pony from any of the 4 generations, so keep sharp, this is where your spy glasses will come in handy!
Any questions? Let's do this, you sea biscuits! (If you see me making really weird pirate/sea-references, just ignore them and pretend they are actually pirate-related, OK? HAH!)
Important note: Tuesday, June 21nd, I'll be out in the field (really and truly in a boat, but not really being a pirate) working for most of the day, so I may not be around a whole lot that day. Don't worry, I'll be back as soon as my peg leg can carry me!
