Hi friends!

Boy, it's been AGES since I posted here but it's great to see the pony community thriving and growing!

Anyway, for those of you who are familiar with my custom work on "The Golden Autumn" might be interested to know that I've finished a second set of customs, all inspired by the classic G1 line, but which branch off into different sets of ponies. You'll find an adult version of Baby Golden Autumn, collector ponies in both sitting and shy poses, seated Applejack, Bowtie, and Sundance with babies, classic pegasi and unicorns reinvented, a set of year 3 dancing unicorns, a baby pony tea party, Mommy Cuddles and Tiddlywinks, a few old favorites in collector's poses, custom Adult Sea Ponies and . . . . the piece de resistance, a complete set of Alternate Birthflower Baby Ponies and six new Birthflower Ponies and Babies! Even if I do say so myself, this set is probably the best customizing I've ever done!

Main page is at:

Baby Birthflowers are at:

I've been working on these for a period of three years now, and I notice in the interim that most customs are now done with G3s, many quite beautiful, but for me there's still nothing quite like an 80s pony! Hopefully this will inspire a new wave of G1 customs! :D  :D

..

OMG these customs are awesome!!! You have some amazing talent. I wish hasbro had made a seashell and bubbles in the original six pose.

Wow, the baby birthflowers are wonderful! Sometimes I think some customs are more so on my want list that actual releases lol.

Beautiful, beautiful work! Not only later "real" ponies but also current day customs tend toward the bedazzling, the fancified, the overdone, but you seem to capture
Plus you have awesome taste in "reposing" the originals, lol... I love those sitting and shy collectors, oh! The original pose has always bothered me, especially its tendency to overbalance just like it looks like it's about to do (or at least, such has always been the case with my old Bluebelle : 0-P ) but you took two of my favorite poses and "fixed" them all, and then added to-die-for adorable babies to boot X 0-) I like a lot of yours better than the true ones, gah--and I now suffer because I can't have them, lol... I may have to find some way to make my own <.< >.>
And those baby birthflowers are even more cute, if that's possible, hehe. First time I've ever seen "my" month of August birthstoned/flowered and prized it above all others... and just take a gawk at that shiny, shiny, simply lovely styled hair ; 0-D Not nearly so flashy as most customs, but I think these have to be some of my all-time favorites. If only Hasbro had had your creative tastes and talent, hehe ; 0-)

I am *in love* with newborn Masquerade! She is so beautiful...I love Masquerade's colour scheme and I don't think she gets a lot of credit ( although she's always been a boy to me, my herd didn't have many boys when I was little). AND I love the sea pony customs! I don't think I've ever seen anyone do a sea pony custom before and they are just stunning! You've done fantastic work, you should be proud!

I love your website and your work. A while back I was looking through it all and it made me get so sentimental I sent you an email, but I'm not sure you ever got it, as that was your old site, and not too long ago!

I'm glad you've posted here.

Wow, guys. thanks for all the sweet compliments!! I really love customizing and I always have a plethora of ideas but very little time to work so I'm glad others have enjoyed my work!

I totally understand what you mean about getting sentimental SoSoftClaire- my heart just sighs when I see a G1 pony!

Customizing is very creative, but I also like being innovative. As far as I know, I'm the only customizer to have tackled adult sea ponies and baby birthflowers so I say to the rest of you keep us on our toes!

OMG! I was a secret fan of your work, and when I decided to get into customizing, I too chose to be an exclusively G1 customizer, and I've always wanted my customs to look just like yours! Your webpage was truly an inspiration for me.

Your new customs are really beautiful, and I totally wish I could paint bodies like that. After many failed attempts I gave up. o_O

It's really great to see new customs from you though!

PS. Do you have a deviantart account?

.

  :D WOW! I love all your customs!! I think Majesty in Gusty's pose looks PERFECT!
((hugs))

Aw, thanks guys, you're too kind!! But NEVER EVER give up painting- it's actually quite easy if you know what you're doing, you just need practice and a little bit of clever maneuvering while painting. PS: I don't have a deviantart account, don't even know what that is!

And yeah, Mario, Majesty in Gusty's pose is heavenly. I'd like to try Ribbon and Galaxy in that pose one day, plus a Mommy Lucky Leaf in that pose would look prettyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!

The first thing I have to say is WOW!!!!! I love every single one of them! I love the idea of "motherless" babies having mommies! All the baby customs are so cute! Baby Masquerade and Skyflier and Locket and well all of them!!!! You are extremely talented! And where do you get your endless supply of sitting ponies and Baby Blossom pose babies!?!? Amazing work.

Thanks Morning Glory! You're *too* kind.

To answer your query, I bought most of my sitting ponies from a seller in Canada who had several baits- I lucked out on that one! The Baby Cotton Candy's and Blossom's I bought from mylittleponyuk.com which also gave me a great deal for buying in bulk. My standard for a custom bait is that the pony not have any cuts or gashes in the plastic, though all the marks in the world doesn't make a bit of difference to me. I actually have a TON of custom baits sitting around, hopefully I'll put them to good use one day!

Your customs are AMAZING! You know, I've seen people make ponies that are standing into sitting ponies, but I've never seen Bubbles or Seashell stand up! It was a weird sight to see for some reason...I never thought they'd ever get up, lol. I especially like your Quackers and Gusty customs. I found myself thinking, "Wow, how could anyone ever find so many sitting ponies?" Just - wow!

:O Your customs are absolutely incredible...I think my favorite is the reposed Gusty :D

Same here! It was like...whoa! They stood!! It was really discombobulating. But your customs are so lovely, and so simple...lovely because they're simple. Thank you for informing us of the update ^_^ Keep up the good work!

Thanks, guys, you're too kind.

Collector's Pose Bubbles & Seashell were an idea I had *years* ago when I saw one of my first variants (I think it was shy Confetti) so I say repose all the ponies you want!

Gusty is probably my favorite mlp and I'd like to have her in every unicorn pose one day: Moondancer, Glory, Fizzy, Powder and Milky Way! It'd be an easy job to do, just gotta find the time!

.

*waves hand!!* :D Yay!! Another fan of Gusty!! :)
I would loooove to see her in all those poses!! :)
((hugs))
