Spring is here and it's time for an egg hunt!​

The hunt will start at 8 AM EST on Saturday, April 3rd, and end at 4 PM EST. Please adjust your times. Eggs will be hidden all over the MLPTP before the start time. The only places where the eggs will definitely NOT be hidden are the Freebies forum, the Debate Lounge, galleries, wishing well and DBL. Random posts will be edited to hide eggs, so they could be anywhere! They will not go past page 3 of each forum i choose. There is a possibility they get bumped to page 4 , only because of other threads being bumped or if there are new threads started. ADDED NOTE: I will be hiding eggs before the start time and it could actually run into the start time as well. Will give you guys a challenge as you may have to check a thread or 20 twice!​

:e1:How to Play (please read through this carefully!):​

It is recommended you open the TP in 2 separate tabs for hunting (or use a doc program). You will be going through threads/posts/??? looking for the egg pictures. Copy/paste the links into your "Basket". Your "Basket" will be a PM that you will send to me when you are done. ONE ENTRY PM PER PERSON! Wait until you are done hunting and send me all the links in one single PM. Any additional PMs that I receive after your first will be void/deleted. Also, any PMs received after the end time/locked thread time will not be counted. I am asking for PMs and not posting here as I don't want any cheating! You are free to post here to ask questions though :)

You are probably wondering how many eggs, right? That I will not tell you!​

Prize 1: The PM I receive that has the most egg links will win a prize! PLEASE NOTE: If more than one person finds them all, then the person who PMed me first will win. If not all eggs are found and there is a tie, same rule applies (first person to PM will win)​

Prize 2: Every PM I receive that has 5 or more egg links will automatically be entered into a raffle for another prize!​

How cute! I can't wait! I just hope my MIL being in town doesn't mess this up. Guess I'll just have to wake up early. :) Hopefully!

Linking help:

For a one page thread, you can link the thread. If it's multiple pages, you can link that page the egg is on.

Or you can also link a multi page thread and type next to it something like "the egg is on page 4"
 
My son will be out of town that day, (he's going to visit relatives for Spring Break) so I don't have anything else to do.

What happens if more than one person finds them all? Or, if no one finds them all, what happens if there's multiple people with the same amount found? Will there be multiple winners?

How far back do we look? Like beginning of this year? Month? Since you posted this? (I don't want to look through years of stuff, lol)

If more than one person finds them all, then the person who PMed me first will win. In fact, thank you for reminding me of that. I need to add that in :) We've had contests before with possible ties and this rule will take care of that issue. Putting the time limit in place will also help!

Are you going to post to say they're all hidden at least? Because otherwise it will be really hard to be able to find all of them and get them in before anyone else. Basically, I don't want to turn in what I think is all of them, only to find more afterward that weren't there before.

I usually don't even get up before 7am, but to be on here before it starts, I'll have to. Guess I should get ready for bed soon.
 
The most I will post is "ALL EGGS ARE HIDDEN" (I will edit the OP to mention it). I won't announce how many eggs.

You can rest assured most eggs will be hidden in time before the start. The whole point of the hunt is not knowing what other people are finding :)

Remember, I can't start too early with hiding the eggs because people will still get a head start- the reason why it may go a little overtime. I'm not saying a bunch of them will go over the time, it may only be one or two :)
