What color is baby beachy keen's crib?

i was curious, I saw this great auction on eBay and the seller is advertising baby beachy keen's crib as her original, but the auction crib is a pastel light yellow cribin color. I have a bright yellow crib that came with my mommy and baby pony set that I bought a few years back, which was also described to be the original crib.

I asked the seller twice about this, but I received no response. *edit, she replied*

anybody know? Which is the correct color? I am only curious because I have been offered $100 for my crib alone, just for the fact that it's a different yellow....and now I'm confused as to which is the right crib for the set.

the sellers set: (while the brightness/contrast of this photo might be low, the crib is still obviously pastel and not a sharp yellow, and my crib matches their ribbons more than it does their crib)

Your crib is the right color. I have seen this set mip and your crib is the right color. I know that seller. Here is a close up pic of the sellers ponies(since she is a member here)She is a very honest seller. Her crib is lighter than yours. Maybe its just faded?Here is the sellers pic up close-

See the crib is a dark yellow color.

By the way this set didn't come with ribbons. So those are not the original ribbons.

I did reply to your email, i have resent the pm i sent tp princess luna to you.

I bought the item from Kcat, and she said it was original, i have no reason to doubt it, if it isnt, ill refund the buyer!

Please dont act like i have been dishonest in this as i havent.
 
It doesn't sound like she's trying to make you out as a dishonest seller from my perspective, it just sounds like she wants to know if hers is a variation or if hers is really original. It sounded more like she was trying to see if hers wasn't real rather than yours. But that's just my take on it from her post. I don't know anything about the questions or emails.
 
Claiming i did not reply to two emails to me denotes dishonesty.

It has also been posted on a non pony orientated forum. I even pm'd her as soon as i realised the previous reply had not gone through!
 
Ah ok.
I wasn't trying to defend her, I was just letting you know that I, as a potential buyer, don't find this post to make you sound dishonest. So that's good, I guess.
 
I am glad it didnt come across this way. Maybe as i saw it on the non pony forum first it got my back up before seeing this thread.

*edit* also looking at timings, it was posted before my auction ended, which annoys me a little also.
 
Hmm... I'd really like to hear where Kcatt got this set because the playpen looks like baby Firefly's paler yellow playpen. She may have gotten it from an uninformed person who thought all the yellow cribs were the same. I have the set MIP and I've had another set loose. It is definitely a much bolder yellow, like the ribbons in these ponies' hair. It's very similar to the yellow playpen that came with the UK accessory sets but it's still a different shade from even that.

I've never seen this set with a playpen that pale before. It's *possible* it was released with different shades but I've never seen or heard of it. Hope this info helps.
 
ouch. No need to get so defensive. My intentions were not to make you angry. It was a post to find out if I have the right crib or not....
I posted here first, but needed an answer asap, as the potential buyer needed me to reply soon. So I x-posted on catfights...(instead of the arena, as they have a multiple post rule and i just posted there)

I know you are reputable. I just needed an answer SOON. Hence the reason I had said I didn't receive a reply.

I am not the type here who likes to stir up trouble with other members. So please don't convict me so harshly. I will edit my post to cater to you. No harm done.

I agree with Ashlyne. Tjhe playpen is a darker yellow. I have my original set and the playpen color is definitely a unique dark yellow.
 
Her playpen is a much darker yellow (not pale at all). I have the set from childhood so I know the accessories are originals. If Kcat bought the set through someone else, it's possible that she was misinformed about the crib.
 
I'll take a look and compare when i get home, but baby fireflys crib isnt pale yellow, its white.

That picture is quite pale... those ribbons are quite orangey in real lif and the hair is pinker.

Just an outsider's opinion:

BabySnuzzle, your reactions seemed totally unwarranted to me, and actually would put me off from bidding on your auctions. I think if anyone should edit their post or apologize, it's you. Not trying to flame, but merely offer a viewpoint on how it looked. Baby Stargaze said nothing about the seller of the auction or the reputation or anything.

Not only did she come on here doubting the playpen (which is no problem) she mentioned the seller didnt reply, which to me would be an action of someone trying to decieve. I had replied to the question explaining i really wasnt sure it was original but had been sold it as original,

Also, it was posted a a non pony specific board (although it has pony ties) where people would have been less likely to know, and would imply more of a problem.

i have to agree with ilfiorelaluna. it' snt liek she listed your name, did she? i dont seeit. she just says the seller.

i'm also put off from bidding on your merch if youre going to get that defensive about a vague post thats jsut a question.
 
Using a picture from my auction... kinda points to me, mlpsayuri knew straight away it was me.

I'm not being defensive, if she had asked once the action finished then yeah that would have been okay. I can only describe things to the edge of my knowledge.

Question here - no problem. Question there - makes a seller agitated.

I'm gonna compare the crib to everything else I have tomorrow night, best i can do.
