What is your opinion on G2?

There are a couple I like but for the most part I am not a huge fan of them. To me they are kind of like someone's attempt at making something cute but the artistic quality and balance of the body design is seriously lacking.

I grew up with G2s. I only had one though (McDs Ivy), but I loved the design.

They kinda had that sleek, contemporary look that was deemed more acceptable for girls of the late 90s. I think it was a transition between the subdued toys of the early 90s and the fashion-crazy hypermodern toys of the 00s.

On an unrelated note, the McDs where I got my Ivy is still there and I want a Big Mac now :( I wanted Light Heart

i adore them ^_^ when the g1's stopped coming to the shops i was heartbroken. so i remember the first time i saw Petal Blossom the g2 my grandfather looked at me and sighed before he put the pony in the shopping cart <3 after that i spent all my money on g2s XD

I was not a fan of them when they first came out. I was horrified at how they had changed the design. However, as I got more into collecting ponies, the G2's grew on me. I was able to appreciate the changes in design. I only have about 10ten of them, but I would like to get more someday. :)

I like G2s! I think they're cute!

I wasn't into G2s when they first came out (I felt that I was too "old" for ponies then), but when I started collecting MLPs as an adult, I got into collecting G2s. I collect all generations of MLP. :)

I'm not a fan of the G2s. When they came out I was about 14. I didn't really like their body design. I did think their canopy bed set was pretty cute.

I never liked the G2 ponies at all even when they first came out years ago. Their body designs were just way too different and not to mention they were hideous to me. I used to own some of them, but got rid of them years after. I like G1, G3, and G4 better. :/

Since the last time I saw MLP in the stores were those "all grown up" Dream Beauty MLPs back in the early 90's, I was overjoyed to see My LITTLE Pony back on the shelves when the G2s came out. I was glad to see ANY MLP product back on the shelves. They weren't what I was expecting as a comeback, but heck, I'm brand loyal 99% of the time when it comes to Ponies. :p

G2 are my least favorite generation but i think they are pretty!

Needed something new to collect while the Core 7 was taking over, right?
I don't have too many, maybe 4. I'm hoping to expand my G2's at the Fair.

Bore 7 gave many people a new appreciation for G2s. It was almost as if they were all new again!

I am still trying to figure out if mine are from Mcdonalds or not - LOL - to new of a collector. I love the babies I have so far, even though I am missing a couple of Twin Mates.
The two G2's I have, have hair in the mane and tail so I think - still not sure - that they are reg MLP's.
Magic motion Pink with sun symbo cutie - move their head and the tail wags!
I dont' have any sitting down ponies yet, but I think that they have touched my heart and I will be on the lookout for one or more.
My latest find was a Chuck E Cheese baby - very nice - rummage sale find - in a 50 cent bag! I love rummage sales!

I love them and their twinkly eyes.

I love them and wish I had a job with more money when they were new so I could have got a lot of them, since the ones I really want are so expensive for me now T.T

I first saw them on puzzles at KB Toys, I've always loved ponies and when I saw that I was "THEY ARE BACK AGAIN?!?!?!"

how can you resist an ADORABLE g2 baby?! they're just so cute!! I don't have very many but I'm picky, and only want certain one's... and have been struggling to find them. But I was out of the pony loop when they hit stores, though I do remember seeing them but they only ran for a few year's here in the states and I never really got into them, I didn't get back into the pony game till around 2005, which by then they were long gone. But I do think they're cute.
