Thanks for joining up, everyone, I'm reserving your pony names for you all. I cannot wait to see what you all do with them!

Skellletonimp and DesertRose- let me know what you want to do. I'll reserve both those names for now, but just post here or PM me if you want to change that up a bit.

Good eye. More like no one but myself knew they were pony names, as I put this together. Guess I need to fire my fact checker. I take it you don't really want me to reserve Wind Wisher for you, as per your cleverly disguised insult. Let me know if I'm wrong and you really do want to play.

that wasn't an insult Claire, that was good-natured teasing. Followed by genuine surprise that no one else caught that. I am by no means the most knowledgeable pony collector, lol. But insult? no. Come on, I like you way too much for that.


I'm going to stay out of the contest because my MS paint skills are abhorrent, but it is a very cute idea. Good luck everybody.
 
so, as soon as I was listed as having my selected name, I went to work. I feel like the kid in class who finishes their test first, but doesn't want to be the first one to turn it in ;)

Ugh, I'm so bad at "paint". :p But here she is, Tropical Magic! Her cutie mark is supposed to be a quetzal, but it got a little mushy looking when sized small enough to fit on her hip. :(

With all the craziness of the holidays (combined with our car accident and the nuttiness attempting to fix that mess) I'd forgotten all about this. LMAO Good thing I've got till January. :hysterical:

Haha, we need more abhorrent MS Paint skills in my opinion! I love that kind. My Ms Paint skills are that as well!



Hey everyone is anyone having any issues? Just have fun and remember, please try to start out on the same leg with the line art- Hasbro-created only and no major modifications. The whole point of this contest is not skill, but design. I want it so that everyone, even those of us (myself included) with terrible digital art skills to be able to compete fairly.

I bet it won't be accepted-I used lineart from colouring book (it's Hasbro artwork,but still), changed much,overdid design and bio is absolutely lame (you need to know that first variant somehow sounded wonderfully porntastic >< I'm stupid:bonk:).

Anywho, here she is! I colored her on Sumo Paint. This is my first time doing digital art that isn't on Paint! I hope it's alright that her hair is white. I think she's very pretty that way. Any other color wouldn't do.

Okay, I totally don't know how to "fill" with photoshop... so I just coloured her manually. I tried a few things to do a fill, but couldn't get it. It's a good thing I'd planned on making her a white pony. LMAO You know me. I LURVE a white pony.

Her cutie mark is a digital stamp I coloured. I kept it simple.

you just take the "magic wand" thingie in photoshop and poke some area;it'll be selected,then you can brush over and it only'll colour selected part;then do right click and choose to deselect area,then repeat till you are satisfied with result
*I don't know english photoshop terms,otherwise I'll explain easier way*
