There where some characters in the comics which I wanted as dolls. Like the man in the moon or "mother nature" (not sure how she is called in english, the german comics wheren't consistend with her name either)
 
Honestly I would love to see a normal majesty and spike, like I know theres that blind box spike but I mean a original spike to go with the main series of ponies. maybe they could release them as a two pack in a special dream castle themed box

I would love to see some sets that are not meant to be displayed MIB. I like displaying my ponies interacting with my sets, but you can't really do that with MIBs... Also, if I read the words "Target exclusive" again I am going to riot.
 
I'd love to see country exclusive ponies released - I especially love the ponies from Argentina but my budget says no!

It would be cool to get new holiday ponies! Even cooler if they hosted a fan art contest to design them!
 
After hitting up several Cracker Barrels, Walmarts and Targets today in hopes of possibly finding one of the famed Celestials (no luck, although I've heard they have been found in the wild), I think the first thing I'd do at Basic Fun is do a bigger push for better distribution.

Today's adventure really had me thinking what stores could be ideal for Basic Fun ponies. Big box stores have the furthest reach, but high risk of items being abused, neglected, stolen or strewn randomly across the massive store. Not a great shopping experience. Either I can't find it or if I can then the box is probably scuffed, dented or dirty. Maybe not all walmarts are like this, but mine always seem like a tornado just went by.

Cracker Barrel handles everything with more care and I think that's more the kind of seller that I'd market towards. So I'd try to focus more on gift stores, book stores, and craft stores. Hallmark store, Barnes & Noble, Hobby Lobby, and/or smaller local toy stores.

I actually really loved how Beanie Babies did it - they went with greeting card stores and small toy shops only, and it made it so that the buying experience felt special and personal and the items were always organized and treated well.

It's probably not a good business model in the long run so this is basically more just me thinking about what I'd prefer as a collector.
 
I'd love to see Deco Ponies in the same vein as the Deco LPS! A simple pony base and then some stickers/markers to go wild with (although I imagine in practice they'd be used for more intricate customs. Wouldn't stop me from throwing a bunch of stickers on a pony, though!)

I loved the Escape from Catrina special, and would love to see a small figure of Catrina too! catrina.png
 
I would love if they made so softs, but made them non so soft versions. It would be new for collectors and also still nostalgic for collectors and non-collectors.

I would love if they made another set of twinkle eyes. Most notably, Mimic, but also Bright Eyes, Tic Tac Toe and Quackers or Locket.

I loved the authors note about making the same characters in NEW poses. That would be amazing for collectors. Seeing butterscotch or Windy etc. in a brand new pose would be epic.

I would also LOVE to see TAF Babies as well as TAF favourites. Munchy, Buttons, Yum Yum and Night Glider.

And I’d LOVE to see a Princess set with their bushwoolies and crowns.

And even a Megan and Sundance set.

Those are already made in the UK and I think South America.
 
I would make another set of unicorn and pegasus ponies for the 1986 toy line, add another set of twinkle eyed ponies, to bring the total up from 15 to 20 ponies. I would add 2 more tropical ponies a blue pegasus pony with purple and pink eye shadow, with pink, purple and yellow hair and tail, her symbol would be birds flying over waves of water, her name would be Bright Skies, and a white unicorn pony with light blue and pink eye shadow, with orange, red, and yellow hair and tail. Her symbol would be two clouds and a rainbow, her name would be Rainbow Flash. I would also put the full pretty mane ponies, and put the mail order Dabble and Scribbles into the set. I would also release the canceled celestial ponies during the original g1 era. I would also release some European exclusives and make them worldwide release as a global ponies set, I would add Gypsy, Hopscotch, Snowflake, Nachtlicht from the german 1987 rainbow ponies, Tutti Frutti and Sweet Clover to the set. Now for g2 I would redesign them into cuter ponies, and make more unicorns and add pegasus ponies to g2. G3 I would make all the unreleased ponies from the movies and specials into toys. All the Pegasus ponies from Friends Are Never Far Away episode, Mish Mash Mee, Fiesta Flair from The Ladybug Jamboree episode, and all the background unicorn ponies from the Runaway Rainbow movie. For g4 I would make Sugar Belle, Night Glider, Party Favor, Double Diamond into toys blindbag figures and as brushables. Make a 2 pack set with Sugar Belle and Big Macintosh. Make a Twilight Canterlot friends set with Twilight Sparkle, Minuette, Moon Dancer, Lemon Hearts, Twinkle Shine and Lyra Heartstrings. Make a brushable Cloud Kicker, Rainbowshine, Sprinkle Meldey, Star Hunter, Open Skies, Clear Skies, Sunshower, Fluffy Clouds, Cloud Chaser, Flitter, Misty Fly, Fleetfoot, Soarin, Spitfire, Blaze, Silver Zoom, High Winds, Fire Streak, and Thunderlane to make a Cloudsdale set for blind bags and a brushable set. They would be released in 3 waves for the Cloudsdale set. I would make a 2 pack Fancypants and Fleur de Lis. Release all the School of Friendship students as blindbags, plushies, and brushables. I would release a Hope Hollow collection, to contribute to the Rainbow Roadtrip line of toys. For g5 I would make a Mane Melody playset that includes 3 ponies Pipp, Jazz Hooves and Rocky Riff. I would also release a Maretime Bay line with Grandma Figgy, Dahlia, Posey Bloom, Sugar Moonlight, Sprout, Diggy, Sanders, Ferris, Seashell, Glory, Peach Fizz, and Phyllis Cloverleaf. A Zephyr Heights Line with Queen Haven, Zoom Zephyrwing, Thunder Flap, Dazzle Feather, Skye Sliver, Shutter Snap, Fretlock from Electric Blue, Windy, Flare, Fifi, Lemon Gear and Luminous Dazzle. A Bridlewood set with Alphabittle, Elder Flower, Onyx, Dapple, Jasper, Crystal Cove, Smoky Cobalt, Silver Nova and Alpine Aspen.
Make a playset for the Crystal Brighthouse with the mane 6 included for $35.00, I would also release Ruby Jubilee for the 40th anniversary from the Bridlewoodstock special. Make a set of brushable auroricorns, and make a playset of the city hall from Starlight Ridge I would also include Violet Frost and Comet in the playset. And release dragons Fountain, Jade, Lava, Tumble, and Luxxe in the Dragon Light Reveal set, with Spike included in the Dragon Lands playset.
 
I neeeed basic fun to make poses that they haven’t done before! Baby ponies, Big brothers, little brothers, sweetheart sisters, ect. Because I love to customize ponies but some poses are REALLY hard to come across, and that way customizers like me have the option to Not use an actual vintage pony for that pose! (I know HQG1C exists for some poses but yknow, they don’t have every pose in the world :p )

And one that I don’t hear a lot: PONYWEAR! I would love it if basic fun brought back pony wear!

More "new" G1s like the celestial ponies.
The Mail Order ponies.
Dolls of the various humanoids (Megan, the Witches, etc) I always wanted the witches and a Danny doll as a kid.
 
I would looooooooooove so-softs!! I'm in Europe and want to buy some but they're hard to find within my very limited budget. I'd love Crumpet and Scrumptious! Pretty please? :Princesssparkle:
