I feel you, @Skybreeze I've got a shopping bag of ponies that need attending, plus a whole box of members of my herd who came out of storage sticky or stinky. If only my back didn't hate standing at the sink!!Y’all are putting me to shame.
These gals look great @OctoberMoon!!
My spa day ponies are sitting in boxes/bags waiting for a bath and hair washing. Only having had a brush out and that took a week to do!
Yes, much better, thank you!Everyone looks so fresh now
Well some of the ones I have are from a year waiting or more. I always put other things first obviously, but I made sure I had at least one morning of pony therapy this 4day weekend and I did it. It was nice!Y’all are putting me to shame.

Thanks!! I also got baby firefly cleaned up and she is getting shipped to someone who is going to help me flock her! Tell E thank you!!They look great @OctoberMoon !
Ha ha!! I wish a bag was all I had. I’ll trade ya!! Yes, standing at the sink for hours is definitely difficult on the ol’ back. I usually sit at the bathroom sink on a “shower stool” I grabbed from a thrift store. Back still a little sore after three hours of washing but much better then if I had been standing that long doing it.I feel you, @Skybreeze I've got a shopping bag of ponies that need attending, plus a whole box of members of my herd who came out of storage sticky or stinky. Well, you shamed-I mean encouraged me into getting a few gals cleaned tonight. ;p Next up is the bins. I’m happy you were able to get in the therapy you needed. Can we see her? :OSo, do you know how to make a light box? Because our sun is just not very bright here right now, and I found a Windy at the Salvation Army last weekend who is just destroyed....not sure how to get her clean. I'm going to scrub her with oxy next because normal soap did exactly nothing for her....I'm not sure how to help her. I see the magic everyone can do with sun fading. But I don't know how to make a box for that. What kind of light source do I need? Those sorts of things...
@Daintress I haven't made one yet but there's a good YouTube channel. My hubby's making me one for Christmas. It's very helpful if you haven't seen it.
pics! i gotta make something like this. does this get rid of all the spots for the most part? even the dreaded pink ones!excellent video tutorial.
I made a box similarily, but instead of those light strips, I use a PAR 38 bulb meant for aquarium reef tanks. It's closer to the sun's UV rays and works beautifully. I also put a mirror beneath the ponies to help reflect the light too
I will post a pic in a bit and those pink spots/ they take forever to fade. I had a pony in the box for nearly 3 months and she faded about 90%. Patient is what it takes.pics! i gotta make something like this. does this get rid of all the spots for the most part? even the dreaded pink ones!
What’s regrind?… do u mean when the plastic has been mixed with a previous batch and doesn’t quite match?… I think that’s it it’s been a while sorry catching up on jargon again..I will post a pic in a bit and those pink spots/ they take forever to fade. But it does nothing for regrind. I believe there’s nothing to be done for regrinds
