My favorite is Izzy, and I also love Misty a lot! I like the whole main cast though, I think they all have good attributes and interesting dynamics with each other.

I'm curious, has anyone here read the IDW comics? I read them all at the very beginning of this month. I really liked them! I feel like they did a good job of expanding on the personalities and dynamics that they hint at in Make Your Mark. If you haven't seen the show for whatever reason, it might be worth checking out the comics! The comics are independent from the show, so you can jump right in if you're interested!
 
Urgh. What is with that weird face on TS? They seriously wasted brushables on more Bore Five, Mane Suxx and two of the most common G3 ponies instead of making new ponies? Unimpressed! Way to drop the ball Hasbroken. Boring and repetitive, thy name is My Little Pony.

I love this new set!!! The hair is gorgeous!! They have that softer, rounder face mold that Style of the Day Misty has, and it is so cute, especially on Izzy!! I love the product photos, I hope they look that amazing in real life. I think G5 Minty is a nice sort of tribute to all of her fans, and the new hair type keeps things fresh! I love the colors they chose for Twilight. The pastel purple body looks great with her dark blue hair. Izzy also seems to have a different hair blend than her normal FS toy, but I'm not sure. Plus, they're articulated!! Super excited for these! I can understand how not getting new original characters is a bit disappointing, though. Despite that, I look forward to people taking pictures of G5 Minty with all her past generation counter parts!! Alright, now that I got all of that out, I can tone down my enthusiasm a bit. :happyhearts: :redheart:
 
OOOOOO theyre so pretty!! I must say im super excited for Minty!!! :O Altho I am a little disappointed that the mlpfim mane 6 keeps butting in. Its not that I dont like them, they're super pretty and I love the characters, and I loved having g5 versions at first but I wish they would make new ponies instead of continuing to make the same ones, even in a new generation of toys. I dont understand why theyre so against using new ponies. Theyre sucess has always come from a wide selection of different ponies to collect, now its nothing but the same ones and a tiny little toy section at the store that doesnt even take up more than 3 shelves at the bottom.
 
That could have been Misty's mane... >.>

Also, we haven’t had G5 Rarity, Fluttershy or Applejack officially yet as brushables (the Favourites Together Collection. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, I’ve probably missed it)

I forgot to mention that it is so nice to see Minty and Pinkie together again, the G3 best friends! It skipped a generation but here they are

I meant in a same set alongside Pinkie. I’m sorry I should have been clearer with that

Her G4 look is better than the G5 one for me simply because of the chunkier legs. Maybe my view will change if I saw her in person or maybe with an angle change

Oh, my fault for misunderstanding.
 
*exhausted sigh* I know it was a big pop culture thing and Hasbro wants to continue making money off it but please for the love of everything just leave G4 in G4. There are so many pretty and interesting characters from G5 that could make toyline appearances. And what a perfect opportunity to have 5 ponies from each of the 5 generations that went unrealized.

cutee!! i do hear what people are saying on the g4 mane 6 but simultaneously i think they look really cute here, for some reason i really love g5's take on rainbow dash and i think the new facial expressions are adorable !! minty looks slightly off putting with those eyes though, i realize they were going for a similar shape to the g3 eyes but it's kinda strange to see her with her eyes so *forward.*
honestly i don't mind them like incorporating previous generations but i wish they'd just.. expand a little?? like, maybe switching things around with the g4 ponies they bring back, and as much as i loooove this design for minty, especially the hair, i think it'd be super cool if they played around with a different g3 pony instead of just her. like, i dunno, my first thought is wysteria (or star catcher if they want my inner child to weep with joy) but like.. SOMETHING, y'know? it's nice to see a bit of a shift with them like experimenting with different facial expressions but like, i hope they keep the momentum now that they're doing like, something again.
