just making this thread since i've been looking on MyLittleWiki and have found a lot of interesting G3 merchandise i never knew existed! some of it i kinda want, ngl. all pics courtesy of MyLittleWiki :lolpony: <3

i wish i could find these in some listing online someday... MyLittleWiki has a page with G3 backpacks and such and I've been trying to find this one pinkie pie backpack i had when i was a child, NO luck at all. it's like lost media

a kimono stocking! i've always had a soft spot for her and seeing her in xmas garb is great. my current stocking is a lil boring so i'd totally use this​

i never usually wear gloves or a hat during winter but these? yes please i love the colors so much. kind of candy cane-y, also it would actually match my hair its reddish haha​

magic washcloth that you drop in the water and it unfolds itself. kinda an interesting choice for merch lol​

I never actually had an easy bake oven, but I would like to get my hands on the cookie stamp that came with this cookie mix

Oh my gosh I lived for those G3 fruit snacks. I'm not sure but I think I might still have one of the wrappers that I cleaned up and kept.... somewhere. (Man I have issues lol.) And I love delving into old stuff like merch from years past and lost media. Even if you don't find what you set out for, you learn all sorts of cool stuff along the way!

Haha we got powerpuff girl Oreos once forever ago and I had my mom cute the pictures off the back and sides of the box and still have them
 
I have that Kimono stocking, I think someone bought it for me years ago when it came out. I rotate it with my Snoopy and Eeyore ones.
 
I love seeing pony-branded food stuff! It's something that so often goes unnoticed, and how many people are going to think to collect it while it's still in stores?

Most of my collection is brushables and figures, but I do have a couple of merch-y bits. A G3 memory game, some G3 fabric, a G1 puzzle, some ornaments, and a Minty figure that I'm unsure of the origins of.
 
I started collecting with g3s but alas I don't have much odd merch. Most of my merch in my collection is g1. If anyone here has photos of stuff not on the wiki you should upload them to help fill it out! :)

Haha, I remember eating those darn fruit snacks too. The flavors are still oddly embedded in my mind... :surprisepony:

Flatten the wrapper and put it in a scrapbook! That's what I do with old packaging I find cool - that way, I can use the excuse that it's art, and I'm not a total weirdo...

ETA: Anyone remember the old sealed G1 cake that popped up on eBay a few years ago?:lolpony:

I’ve never heard of this cake before. Did the cake still look good? Did it have any mould?

To answer the thread’s title question, I don’t think I’ve found any cool merch that I can think of but I did find a G3 party pack in a charity shop. I should’ve got it to see the Fluttershy poster but I didn’t and when I went back to get it, it was gone. I can’t find it online either

That was quite an interesting and fun read. I can only imagine what the cake looked like. It sounded pretty grim
