Okay so to say I am upset is an understatement. I am so tired of sellers selling items and not describing/disclosing things. I have cats and I can detect this odor a mile away. So, I get a pony and what happens? Its coated in cat pee. :mad: I can just see it in my mind. A brute of a male Persian Feline Fuzz King saw my so soft pony and said, "That's mine." One of Vinny's cousins I guess. He must have covered it from head to hoof. The smell from the mailer attracted my cats:eek:. I had to throw everything in the trash right away and start cleaning this so soft beauty which I didn't want to do but hey that stinks. Did it happen on my porch-no. I was right there to get the mail when she put it in the box. Nothing on the outside of the mailer. The inside...weeewwwwhwwww

I used "Urine Gone Enzyme"-Nope
I used "Clorox"- I know terrible right-a bit better but still Nope
I can't use Odoban it will destroy the flocking.
Vinegar-Nope

Help??????:( Please don't say she is nuclear waste. I will be so sad. booooo

I'd put her in a baggie with a few used dryer sheets and some baking soda. Leave the Pony in that for a week or two. The baking soda will wash off pretty easily.

If it doesn't work, you might have to pop off her head and de-stink her from the inside out.

I don;t know why sellers think that's okay.

I have some Nature's Miracle at home that's worked great for me in getting cat urine smell off of everything I've used it on--clothes, mattress, carpet, linoleum etc. Let me try it on a nearly bald So-Soft I have to make sure it's safe for them and then I can recommend it to you.

On a side note--that is purely awful they didn't tell you that before you bought it!

Oh thank you!!!! It is awful isn't it? I mean that is the worst smell.

@evilbunnyfoofoo
Trust me that head was off immediately.

I must admit for a split second when I read the title of your post I thought, A G1 pony I don't know about?! How could it be?! I half expected to see some rare, obscure G1 from another country with an inappropriate symbol or pose LOL

I don't have any useful information for you though, I hope you can find something. I use Equalizer on Frank accidents and it works great on carpet though I've never had to test it on a pony cause he's a good boy. It is also hard to find, I order it from Amazon.

Oh my gosh that would be a perfect pony @evilbunnyfoofoo
She must have some yellow in her mane and tail...ROFLOL

ROFLOL yea well she is a rare girl. She is kind of like a Nirvana Scented pony. Only with her you don't have to scratch and sniff her like you would a sticker. Her vinyl has been infused. I bet she is rare and there isn't another one out there like her ROFLOL. I am not sure her country of origin but I heard she is called Stinkadina.

Maybe the pony peed itself on the trip over. Check and see if her box was soggy.

She shoulda went before her trip! :D

Come to think of it there were some ink runs. I thought she was just sweating in the Texas Fall heat wave.

So who else is now tempted to make a custom Cat Pee Pony? Her symbol can be a litter box!

Oh god yes

Yellow soggy coat, yellow shimmery shiny mane

Drops of urine over cat litter for cutie mark Dx

Man this pony is still stinkin. Argh I thought I might have helped her but this morning I noticed where her tail is she still smells like cat pee. My dh was like, "oh man that is the worst purchase yet." Ummmm yea
Next time I read the word Mint in an auction I am going to assume that means the pony needs mints not that the pony is mint. boooooo
@Star_Flare
I have Natures Miracle Bird Cage Cleaner but I am afraid if it removes birdy pooh its gonna remove pony fuzz. What does your bottle say on the front? Is it just a formula for cats?

Oh my goodness this is so funny. I am expecting to see this pony made!!

I hope you blasted that sellers reputation to smoking cinders! That's disgusting and unsanitary.

Cat stink is totally avoidable in my opinion. It takes good training, an understanding of feline behavioral issues, being able to communicate with your animal and finding the right combination of stimulus/affection/kitty companionship and territory to keep your cat from ruining the house. It takes some work. Some cats are easy and some are difficult. Sometimes a cat needs a special box, other times its best to let them be an outdoor cat. It doesn't make sense at all to me to live in a home that smells that bad and let it ruin all of your stuff. That is just me though. I am not an OCD cleaner, but this kind of thing should just not happen.

In my mind they do deserve bad feedback, but at the same time since I am not returning this item its not really fair. Its so much trouble to return something and its not worth my time. So, I probably will not blast their reputation to smoking cinders, but I am tempted to write them and ask if they have cats. If they say yes I probably will discuss this with them for future sales. There is always a possibility they are not the ones that allowed the pony to be sprayed by a cat. They did however sell me a stinky pony and never bothered to say a word and I did ask them a lot of questions. They had plenty of opportunity to be honest.

have you tried shampoos and body wash to see if it would clean her up? or dish soap or laundry soap? something that will clean her and get her to smell good again. because she is a so soft, be sure to use a tooth brush to clean her body. dont scrub too hard.

Sorry tula but there is no way they could have missed this. Which pony is it? You ought to return it, get your money back and use it to buy a pony not covered in pee, then have a firm talk with the seller about why this behavior should not fly. Though no one should have to tell people that selling items soaked in an animal's bodily fluids is wrong. They may not have been at fault for the cat peeing on it, but they were responsible for sending it out and not saying a word. Can you at least let people know which seller it was so no one else has to worry about unsanitary items?
