G1 Cat Pee Pony Updated: Pony destroyed

Just for the record. I am angry for you and this rotten situation you've found yourself in, not at you, in case my previous post came out too aggressively.

I completely agree with you 100%. I am going to do something about it, trust me on that. I want to see what they say. Certainly I can tell you the sellers name. I just need to figure out why this happened first. I have in the past had a hard time knowing how to handle stuff like this diplomatically. I am great with certain types of issues and terrible with others. I guess with all that is happening in my personal life this seems small in comparison. Lately, I have been trying to use humor to get through things because, otherwise I think I would be upset all the time about every little thing. So, starting this thread to get some help and laughing about it certainly feels better than being too upset. Here is my thought. We never know what a person's life is like on the other side of a sale. We don't know. Some people are in a really bad place and stuff like this happens. It doesn't make it right, but I like to think about this now before I approach a person. I guess because I don't see well at all. Sometimes I can't see a flaw on a pony even with glasses. I try really hard to looking my stuff over, but I could miss something. I sure would want someone to be understanding. On the flip side of that there are tons of dead beat sellers out there doing shady things because they can. It takes a little decernment to know which is which. This was a huge mistake on their part. The smell is unbelievable. I am not happy about it at all especially when I asked so many questions. So, I have to get to the bottom of this. If I can't get anywhere with them then I will eventually just give them appropriate feedback. I have to feel like I tried if you know what I mean. I appreciate you pony friends caring. That is why I brought it here. I knew I would find support and good ideas.

yes, I have tried laundry and dish soap and downy lol. I got the smell down about half what it was, but I don't know if it will last. I need to use enzyme action but ss ponies are so delicate and she is almost perfectly flocked with not a stain anywhere. She is so beautiful to be so stinky. Its just so weird. I am very worried about ruining her. As if cat pee hhasn't ruined her already. Argh

OMG that is something awful! I hope you can get your money back tula. I would not want to even clean her since that is totallt sellers fault to not to mention that...

Ummm well, dirty nappies....cat pee ponies...not much difference there. I think I can handle it even though its not fun. Now vomit pony ... you have lost me. Lets just say that without giving details I had an incident in a thrift store with a sick child. Guess what? I left my shoes in the parking lot. Okay I know try not to be sick. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Compared to this, I think I could handle anything after that day. This Texan is strong!! LOL

ROFLOL @evilbunnyfoofoo you are such a funny one. I know you can't miss an opportunity to enjoy humor. I have seen that. I think I am like that too. Its a wonderful way to go through life isn't it? My whole family is huge on silliness and humor even bad humor. Our get togethers are usually loud, crazy and sometimes rated PG13. We laugh a lot though and that is so healing to the mind, body and soul.

Well my seller says she has no pets of any kind and has no idea how this could happen other than she re-uses packing material and stuff. No one else has complained about something like this. So, the whole thing is rather odd. There is a chance maybe it got damaged in route somehow, but how in the world? I didn't allow it to sit on my front porch. I wonder if she did. Maybe she set it out for pick up and a nasty fuzz came by. She did offer me a refund and was very nice about it. So, I can return the pony or try to fix it.

I have Natures Miracle Bird Cage Cleaner but I am afraid if it removes birdy pooh its gonna remove pony fuzz. What does your bottle say on the front? Is it just a formula for cats?

Mine just says Nature's Miracle. I tried it out on my bait SS this weekend, so far so good, no deflocking or damage, but I want to wait until tonight to make sure and then see if any fuzz comes off once I'm sure she's completely dry.

I think she needs a Stick Up. Do they make small ones for ponies? She is a little bit better this morning after soaking all night in a cat pee enzyme. I am still having an issue with her tail area though so I am going to take the tail out and soak it. I think the bum was the point of impact for this poor pony girl.
 
Vinegar is a must in any Pony restorer's arsenal.
