So that’s the way they’re doing her mane! Also, added pink? Will her mane change colour when she gets her cutie mark then? Is this her confirmed one? Exciting!
Also, nice full name and they kept her freckles!

I too haven’t been big on articulated ponies either but this gives me a good idea of how they’ll do Misty
 
I love this Misty and I need her so so so badly. BUT there’s a few things I’m sad about, including her hair textures and the fact they didn’t Ombré her mane. :( But for the mass and fast production I understand why Hasbro has gone the way they have. I hope maybe we can get a high quality Misty as a Con Exclusive or something.

I forgot to post about MY Opaline. She came to me two days earlier than she was scheduled. I was very torn about opening her but decided to anyhow and I’m happy I did.

My Opaline has the crusty and glue filled mane we have come to expect from Has to which is slightly disappointing. Her tail is also a hot mess. So we will be resetting and cleaning her up. I put her wings in “backwards” because I’m not a fan of the weird design and like the blue better. I’m kinda sad her hair braids are moulded plastic and not actual braids, I’m not sure why I thought they were actual braids but here I am. Lol

Overall I love her and her cuffs and sparkly hooves (I hope my Zipp from this line comes with similar hooves).

Oh wow D: Im so sorry!! It must be a mixed bag, mine was so tidy! That sucks! Are her curls hard? I wonder if the amount varies bc mine barely has any? :O gosh i wonder what happened to her tail!

I should have said in my post the braids were plastic >.< i just thought everyone knew aaah. I dont mind them as much, it probably would have added to the cost or we lose the pretty hooves. Id rather have the hooves personally.

Her mane is very solid. Lol It’s actually pretty gross feeling, but a good wash in hot water should help make her beautiful again.

I think the tail is a hot mess because of how she was shipped to me (in a bubble envelope) and she likely got thrown about. Her box was damaged, which is the only reason I decided to open her box.

No, a smarter more observant person likely knew the braids are moulded and not made with her actual hair. Lol I just got over excited to see a pony who isn’t Zipp and Pipp.
 
i'm honestly suuuuper giddy about these new articulated ponies, i loveeee what misty has going on here and this entire music festival theme they seem to have ("bridlewoodstock" is SO funny to me) but i also found this video where they took pipp out of the box and not only are her hooves painted but her legs are too and the three of them appear to be much more expressive than what we've been seeing so far!!! :lolpony:

Awwww noo dont say that, you arent dumb! Its easy to mistake things in pictures :O I appreciate they at least tried to put some hair strands around it lol. Small effort.

Im sorry yours mane is so gelled >n< That sucks!! If you have a hard time getting the gel out, goo gone works well for that sort of thing!

i personally have two in mind i'd be really interested in!! i really like the colors on windy from chapter 1 of make your mark and i think she'd be absolutely gorgeous, but one i'd be even more excited about is this (to my knowledge at this moment) unnamed unicorn that's going to show up in the comics, she appears to have vitiligo and i think it'd send out a really nice message to kids if she became a prominent character and had a toy, and with this news about misty i think i have higher hopes for that possibility now :satisfied:

I feel like I should be all over these but I'm not. I assume that the reason why I'm not so sure about them is because their legs seem to be too skinny. Still it's nice that we're getting Misty, she's probably the best from this set.
