G5 G5 Chatter

The decision to make it a giant Sunny is so funny, but I like this set. Looks like it has a lot of playability. I see an elevator, a water slide, and a hanging swing.
 
Series 2 episode 5 of Tell Your Tale features some nice G1 references…

It's an interesting episode. Do you think they're moving Misty over to be the lead character? Some think so. It's known that she's the most popular g5 character. I think they could simply be showing that 2 g5 ponies will study and apply deeper magic like Twilight did (though I guess Sunny hasn't shown any interest in studying it yet?).

Honestly I haven't the faintest idea, as I find the continuity of the G5 plot to be very hard to follow as it is ^^;

From a marketing standpoint though, I don't see Misty replacing Sunny as the main character.
 
I don't think so, just based on that two foot tall Sunny playset, ha ha.

I think she is just getting cemented in place as the G5 "Mane 5" becomes the new Mane 6.

I hope we see more of Comet (from the finale of the Make Your Mark CGI show), I liked his design a lot. But now that they only have Tell Your Tale, they may have to change some of their plans. I really feel for the writers, it is not easy to make a coherent bit of story with only five minutes of run time. Like, even ten minutes would give them so much more to work with.

Who is Comet?
 
I know they're not new, but this was the first time I'd seen them instore - Fuzzikins! Would have purchased a Hitch one, but I think it's only Izzy and Sunny as per the norm.

As a side note, these were the only MLP items in the whole John Lewis store left as far as I could tell.

Honestly I´m not that excited becuase recently alot of my favorite toys and series´s have gotten remakes and honestly are a bit...bad, Like monster high, that was a complete flop. But I am hopeful that mlp is as good as ever, I´m just worried cause I have seen ´alot´ of backlash on this new show. Sorry for being negative, I do have high hopes that its good though :D

Outside of the royal gala pack and a few singular ponies, you're not missing much. Hyper-repetitive, cheaply made. It's the "same crap, different gen" business model hasbro has been employing since 3.5.

Ohhhh, that´s alright, I honestly expected that. Monster high was a giant thing that sparked my skepticism, But I seriously am bothered by the 3d effect it kinda hurts my eyes lol

It didn’t seem like anyone was getting them. I’ve been seeing them every time I went. They were all pretty much still there recently and then a week later, my local Poundland rearranged and they’ve vanished… I wonder where they went?
 
When is Scout Kind Heart due to be released?
