I’m so glad you both liked it and the additions sound good!Whoops! Did @MaddieHatter 's Hawaiian Tacos awhile ago and forgot to share. Had to tweak the recipe for one lb of meat since there was just my sister and I (and even then we still had a lot of leftovers lol). I ate spinach, shredded cheese, and a dollop of sour cream with mine. Definitely one I'm adding to the rotation!
Aldi's has been out of a lot of things lately so I'm going to have to venture out to other stores for the rest of recipes. :|
Has anyone tried mine yet? I know grits aren't normally that appetizing but we never come back with leftover cheese grits. I swear some of my relatives would lick the casserole dish if they could.
The green chilis and garlic are the real chef's kiss to the cheese grits. (I'm hungry just thinking about it lol.)I actually love cheesy grits, and your recipe is similar to the one I usually make only I never thought to put chilies or garlic in mine. Just the butter, eggs and Velveeta, little salt and pepper. I am actually planning to try the grits, one of Sass's soups and the potato chip candy sometime this month.
I do my menu/grocery shopping monthly so it takes me a while to rotate new stuff in.
