Making a teenage boy pony from a fakie

I've been working on this chap and another. This got airdry clay while the other got fymo hardened using boiling water (a new one for me). He is painting up OK, but I should have used a primer, oh well. He has to be a teenager because he will be too small to be a daddy or big brother lol. But I needed fluffy footed horses

Sorry for the lack of progress. He has stalled a bit. I don't have super fine sand paper, and my old paint is still giving me the griefs a bit. I am thinking he will need freckles or a blaze to disguise my poor sanding and painting on his face where I beefed his cheeks out. You can sort of see it in the pic. I have a collection of oranges, greens and yellows to hair him with. But I cannot decide on who he should be! I thought a boy version of an existing girl from any gen. Or a g2 version of a g1 boy. Or something else to do with say citrus or pumpkins. But I honestly cannot settle on anything. Any votes on what you think on who he should be? Lol

@Mich He's progressing gloriously! I do so love feathers on ponies. Come winter when my real life ponies bush out with their cold weather coats their feather grow out and they just look adorably prehistoric!

Ohhhh marmalade. I was thinking jaffa cos that is a variety of orange believe it or not, but marmalade. So many options. I think he shall have to have orange symbols for sure.

The boys are progressing. I got new paints and they are sooooo nice to work with.

Still going citrus, well sort of. This boy is going to have a jar of marmalade and a couple of cut oranges. And the purple one I was thinking grapes and a wine glass. So going fruit and produce I guess lol

I'm still working on trying to be neat at such a fine scale.

@Gingerbread if I could figure out how to quote, reply and post pics in the same thread I would lol. They do look like halloween colours together.
