We are asking all gifts to be sent out around the first week of December. :wink:

Here is some combined info from the emails I sent out to my group members (I'll keep this here for easy referencing):

The price ranges given are just a "rule of thumb" to go by, but you may decide to spend more, a little less, etc... ( if giving a custom, a custom does not have a price to it, so please just give according to what you value the items to be at.) Please do not go much less than the price bracket you are in though, as you do not want the receiver of your gift to be let down. If you are in the $15+ bracket for example, your receiver may be upset to receive a $1 pack of MLP stickers. LOL

A few things to remember: Try to wrap all gifts in holiday wrap. This will make it more fun to receive, and to open! Please remember to mail out all gifts within the first week of December! We do not want any late packages being sent out. If sending packages internationally, please only ship via airmail and mark them as gifts. It may be a wise decision to use delivery confirmation or certificate of mailing on your packages, should anything happen to them in transit.

When you have a gift ready for someone, it may be wise to email those other members of your group to let them know what you have gathered for that person. That way it will lessen the chance of that person receiving duplicate gifts.

When you have received all of your own gifts from your group members, please post feedback for them in the trader feedback forum on the MLPTP. Please put all the members all in one post. You may also choose to post pics of your gifts on the show and tell forum on the MLPTP. We will all want to see what you have gotten! ;o)

After I have received everyone's replies back, you will be notified via email as to who is in your group. On the same existing thread we have on general discussion, I need each of you to post your complete want list, clearly marked G1, G2, and/or G3 for easy referencing. You may also include non-MLP items, such as Fairy Tale Birds, Breyers, Fashion Star Fillies, Fakies, etc... But please keep these to a minimum. At the top of your post, please put what condition you like your ponies to be in, so that mint collectors do not receive ponies with hair cuts, symbol rubs, etc... We want you all to be happy!

It would be nice to have all packages wrapped in giftwrap, to make it more fun when receiving. We ask that ALL packages be mailed out around the first week in December, to ensure everyone gets all their packages by the holidays. We all know how the postal system gets swamped at this time of year! It may be a good idea to put Delivery Confirmation and/or insurance on each package, to ensure it's safety. I hope no problems arise, but if they do, I will be asking you to provide proof that you mailed out a package to someone if they don't happen to receive it. (ex: postal receipt, DC receipt, cert of mailing, etc...) If you are mailing domestically, I recommend priority mail at this time of year, for obvious reasons. And if you are mailing internationally, I HIGHLY recommend only shipping via airmail. Nobody wants to receive their package come Valentine's Day! LOL Also, if mailing out little bits of candy, please be sure to check with customs. Some countries do not allow certain food items to be imported. You may choose to "hide" them within the package, but from my own experience, I have never had this be an issue. Just something to keep in mind. Also, PLEASE be sure to mark international packages as "GIFTS" on the customs forms!! Nobody wants to pay fees for receiving their gifts!

OMFG! I RARELY laugh outloud, but that just made me fall of my chair in hysterics! ROFL I would definitely take that a sign to NOT buy that for that person! 8) That is just way too funny!

That is the main reason I am trying so hard not to buy myself things right now. :wink: Only if I see something I want with no bids, and a low price, and almost ending, THEN and ONLY THEN will I buy it. It's been really hard, trust me...*sighs*

LOL, that's aweful, funny but I know it's frustrating! Gosh it's SO hard not to buy things off my list right now, especially if they're going cheap or have no bids! But luckily I'm broke so it's been a little easier to hold back lately:p I'm done with all my swappers presents and they better not go buying any of them! Especially since I had to go over my limit on a couple:p Of course with a whole month to go before sending them out, it's going to be hard for some not to be tempted...
 
I think we should all make a pact to NOT buy ourselves things until after the swap! I'd be in for that! But I don't know how trustworthy you all are about sticking to it! *teases you all* :p

...I really hope the answer is 'any time', because I've only got one package that hasn't been mailed yet.
 
LOL! Packages are to be sent around the begining of December, and must be out by the 10th of December.
 
Oh, I am certain you are not! By the way, have any of who who have already sent them wrapped the outside of our packages, or just things inside individually and sent the box? I'm asking because I remember a few years ago they told me no more wrapping the outside of boxes... and I don't want all my pretty MLP wrapping paper torn off (I had to go to four stores to find it, and it was $5 a roll). I'm thinking just to be safe, individual internal wrapping might be the key? Anyone else been told this or have any speculation?
PS. I don't mean the wraping paper with labels that the post office provides, cause they're okaywith that (why wouldn't they be) but just regular stuff. I tend to remember this memory occurring back in the time that was close to the 9/11 ordeal, so a while ago, and in a different state, but I just wanted to make sure before I gave the post office a reason to mangle anyone's packages.

Nope, the USPS does not allow you to wrap the outside of a package. You can wrap the gifts , then stick them in a normal shipping box for mailing.

You can mail anytime now, if you are ready. In fact, some people have already shipped their packages. LOL It may be easier, if when you mail packages out, just make a post here with the run down of info. So we all have it right here in one spot. Of course you don't HAVE to, but it may be a good idea. Meaning this for example:

(Say I mailed out all my packages to my people)
