MLPTP EVENT MLPTP's 2023 Spring Swap - Show n Tell!!

I've been salivating at the chance of vicariously living the swap through this thread

I get to start us off, and sorry (not sorry) to report: I got the best box, so there's that.

@Draco spoiled me rotten with genuine, thoughtful care. The box was clearly tailored to me and my family, and every detail was lovingly prepared. There were even adorable graphics provided for the packages. The box itself was even lovely. Gosh, it was just fantastic.

Starting off: The box, and the opening impression, followed by an orange boi who thinks it is for him:

Here are my three new ponies:
The Moondancer is obviously my fav and shall be treasured forever, but I also have another Sunspot for my army, and one of the last three birthflowers I need!

Oh, did you see the basket for that Moondancer custom? Check it out. And the tag with two of my fav ponies?! Draco thinks of everything.
Also the basket and the cute tulip bag are both getting reused, for sure!

Friday will mark one year since my gramma (who raised me) died, and ladybugs were kinda our thing, so receiving the ladybug items had me in tears. I am excited to use the stickers to make something with Nixie, and I'll be having them help with the stone as well. I'll be wearing these earrings and thinking loving thoughts on Friday, and it's so nice that they came to give me a smile in the middle of my grieving.

There's a bunch of fun, cute stuff I can do with my kid (my fave!), and there are even mousies for the cats (already being fought over), and some scents to try in the wax warmer (I am sure Gwenn will HATE watermelon, hahaha).



Here's a shot with all the cute tags (all personalized, with such attention to detail), and I'll have to come back and add Nixie's stuff because they're already in bed. (Gwenn is too, but I was able to ascertain their surprise through my awesome powers of deduction).

This has been such a personal box. It makes me feel really seen and loved. It feels like a hug to my entire family, and I love Draco so freaking much! /end rant

Everything is just perfect! Even the box is so nice! JadeCade must have a pet because my cat smells them lol


But the goodies! Did you make the card, sticker and keychain? I love them!


pony goodies! Bow Tie pin! She’s my favorite! I didn’t know they made retro patches too! And two ponies from my wishlist! And yay! More hair! The pixie twist is such a soothing color too


The cute cat stuffs! Did you make the framed one? So creative!

The patch was a last minute impulse buy when I happened across it at a Hobby Lobby of all places! I’d never seen it before either. And that Pixie Twist hair was just too pretty to resist!

For the candy, your wishlist said you’d like to try
something local to me so I did a little research and discovered these two delights aren’t widely available outside the Midwest. I hadn’t tried the Twin Bing before so course I had to test one myself before sending you one and it was yummy!

Oops! I forgot to include a note about the ‘milk’ rings. My milk doesn’t have the pull tabs anymore so I found an alternative. Glad you figured out what they were! Lol

I'm putting that keychain on my keys today lol. I was even saying to myself I need a new one and now I got one! You did a great job with the Cricut! My niece has one but she isn't quite as creative as you are with it (yet). she's still learning! Today is my cheat day, so I will be trying one of those candies and will report back, lol.

I haven't been to hobby lobby in forever. Such a great store!

I woke up this morning and one of those milk rings was on my pillow. Guess my cat hunted it down for me lol

These all look good enough to eat and smell even yummier! I don’t even know which one to start with. Thank you!

And then all the candy and hot chocolate! I’d be trying that right now if it wasn’t a whopping 80 degrees here right now. Maybe tomorrow…[edit to add: so the SoChatti isn’t hot chocolate, but chocolate you can melt to drizzle! OMG! ]

My kitties got spoiled too with some new balls and tasty treats and of course, a new box to sit in.

And PONIES! So many ponies!

I’d have been thrilled with any one of these.
I’ve been wanting Brilliant Blossoms and Nice ‘n’ Spicy for quite sometime now but my favorite is this girl!

Also, the wrapping and bags were sooo cute! I’ll be reusing some of these next year!

I'm glad you liked it! The rehair is super rough (my first attempt), but I tried!
Lynnix and the four cats kept investigating, and I thought I would never finish her.

As I said in the card, Wigwam is not swap-worthy, but hopefully he can be of use til something else comes along. He is just wrapped cause Gwenn was having fun with wrapping paper, lol. (Gwenn wraps and packages all of my swaps because they enjoy doing it.)
