MLPTP EVENT MLPTP's first ever PONY Easter Bonnet Contest! Voting time!

I wondered where I remembered an Easter bonnet from! Now I wanna find the old threads!

OMG, the very first hat contest (which is clearly different, as it's the "Spring Into Easter Bonnet Contest" :p ) https://www.mlptp.net/index.php?thr...t-contest-peoples-choice-award-winners.63264/ was from 2009!!!!!!!!!!!

Since this is the Easter Bonnet Contest, it clearly is the first of its kind, since these other threads have different titles! :tongue:

Yay! prize photo!

After a four hour binge, I have completed hat number 2! It looks amazing!

I also spent the last hour making cute little frilly thing's to further add to hat number 1s pony! She's soooooo cute now! I can't stand it!!!!!
I can barley hold my excitement to show every pony!

MLPC will be doing the photography some time in the next couple of days and will probably be the one to send the photo's to @Gingerbread !

Now it's time to clean up the mess!

Omg those are so cute and unique! I started making a lame normal looking bonnet with flowers and feathers

Mine were from the 2010 one:) Don't feel bad Gingerbread; while I remembered the contest I didn't think it was that long ago!

I have an idea for one but not sure I can make it come out the way I want...

this is a precious idea!! can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! <3 i don't have the hand strength to participate (especially after this reroot, omg my fingers are never going to be the same) but i looove mini things!!! XD good luck!
 
Well, @Gingerbread, I sent in a picture. Fingers crossed you got it, as that was my first "conversation" and I'm not entirely sure I did it right.

You sent it correctly @Daintress but there is a post count minimum for qualification, please see above and first post for more info :) as long as you can reach it before the submission deadline we'll let ya qualify ;)
 
What does being an active member mean? I see we have to have at least 20 posts, but active for how long? I was a member years ago and I just started receiving emails from this site again so I haven't been active for awhile. I definitely want to try this with my daughter though. She is 8 and really into ponies now!

Great, thanks! I did see the rules post, and figured it wouldn't be difficult to get to twenty, since I have a lot to ask and say about ponies and everyone in my life feels it is kind of a ridiculous topic at my age. LOL! I will say, my husband has been super cool about my renewed interest, and is even looking up estate sale auctions that mention them for me. He's been the best source for that stuff, since he is already looking at auctions for pinball machines and arcade games. :speedy:

UPDATE: I think I made it. LOL!

The "active" is defined differently based on the value of the swap, for example it might say "having made a post in the past 3 months" I left that off of this contest since you aren't having to send anything of monetary value, as long as you've made a recent post (which you technically just did ;) ) and you have the post count you qualify.
 
A few questions before its too late to ask, better safe than sorry.:surprisepony:
Is the post count required the "Messages" number?
Also, by midnight on the 5th do you mean midnight when it turns the 5th? The night of the 4th? I had almost planned to turn my pics in on the 5th and about had a panic realizing If I hadnt rechecked I might have missed it. :eek:

It’s number of posts on the forum… sadly, no, I don’t know where to find it. You can look at all your postings and count. They’re accessible from your profile page. @Gingerbread will know and about the date.

I was assuming posts can be threads started as well as replies.
But hey, us teeny tiny ponies don't always know what is being referred to ...
okay 28 posts, 3 threads started.

I hope that's enough because two hats will be incoming in the next hour.

Post count is the same as messages. I don't know why it's called messages, it may have happened in an upgrade but the "messages" number under your name is the number of posts you've made and that is your "post count"

Photos need to be in by 11:59 p.m. EST on April 5th so if it's anytime on Tuesday it's okay. Wednesday is when I'll be creating the voting thread.
