New Thrifty finds

Right? I almost didn’t get him cause he’s kinda big but he was just tooo pretty ^_^

Isn’t is? I’d never heard of her before but it’s very cool!
Well, she in fact is married to Brian Froud, has collaborated with him on making the characters for the 80's film Dark Crystal! And she is considered the mother of Yoda from the original Star Wars as she designed his character!! Very talented artist. She has other fairy books too. I have one called Midsummer Nights and she also did the pressed fairy collections with Brian Froud.

She and Brian did a lot of designs in the 80's film Labyrinth, as well, which I am... overly familiar with at this point, LOL.

The Breyer is lovely! He's called Romance, is model #1224 and was produced from 2004-2006, according to Identify Your Breyer. Out of box he seems to sell for roughly $50 on eBay depending on condition. I love that mold. Kathleen Moody is such an expressive equine sculptor.

Funny you should say! I was thinking about that on my commute this morning and was gonna edit my response :p you beat me to it. Yes almost everything with a puppet and Jim Henson there was some collaboration. Love them all!!

Their son was Toby in the film :D

Ahh I thought the faces of the little gnomes looked kinda familiar! They definitely resemble the dark crystal characters :D Yup it says this one is a sort of sequel to the midsummer night book

Ooh thanks for his name
Wow that’s a lot, I got pretty lucky, he was only $6! His pose is really nice and actually pretty sturdy too considering 2 hooves don’t touch the ground
And he grew up and helped make The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance series!
Aw that’s cute :)

I haven’t had a ton of good finds lately, there’s been nice stuff but priced a little higher than I like. But I’ve had a few lucky finds still :D
Like this adorable little strawberry panda needle felting kit

And a bag of Barbie’s for $4, I normally skip if I can’t really see what’s in it but they all looked like older ones and most had shoes and some clothes so I got it

Definitely worth it to me  the best bits, this little fairy with pretty green hair, a teen Skipper who has just the sweetest face, these cool jackets that aren’t official but are very nice.

And lastly this one who amuses me :) She’s apparently a princess spy, disguised as a cook if you flip her dress around, who does a flip kick when you push the lever on her leg  I usually get Barbie’s to customize but not her, she gets to stay as is (I wanted to put a video of the flip but it won’t let me,oops)

You guys, somebody donated like their entire collection of dolls! There were so many and with almost all their clothes/accessories and hair messy but in the original styles too! They had very good taste cause there were tons of fairytopia dolls. I didn’t get them all lol but here’s what I did get :flutter2:
A bunch of Kelly dolls I didn’t have :D the two in the second pic are extra cute

The little figures are happy meal toys from a show called W.I.T.C.H. which I loved, and this super pretty Barbie dress

Ooo I love that Ariel doll, she’s lovely! Such pretty details! Would love to find some old Lisa Frank out in the wild, too. :starshine:

Disney made porcelain dolls? :O
Yep! They made several of them, some time in the 90s I think? There’s ariel, Belle, Snow White, cinderella, Aurora and I think I remember seeing an Alice one too, all very pretty :)
You can always find the best stuff! Those moon wings  are beautiful!!
I do get pretty lucky sometimes :lolpony:
I know right?? I’d never seen her before but she’s so cool?! Apparently her name is Lumina :)

She is so nice with all the little pearls and crown and everything ^_^ and Ariel is my favorite princess
Yeah, Lisa Frank can be hard to find so it’s always cool when it happens :D

Here’s some pics of the g3 sheets I thrifted on Monday :ponylove: they’re so cute (very wrinkly though, gotta iron them)
The bottom sheet is just multi colored hearts and the top one has Starsong and Pinkie Pie (it’s pinker in person, the lighting makes it look a little more peach)

Anyone have tips for making a full fitted sheet fit a twin bed though?

They’re in the wash right now so I can’t add a pic yet, but I was out somewhere I never go and stopped in this tiny thrift store and they had a set of g3 bedsheets that look completely unused for $2.25! A top sheet, a fitted sheet and a pillow case :D they’re so cute
Anyone have tips for making a full fitted sheet fit a twin bed though?
Lots of tidy folding, lifting the mattress and tucking, is what I would do!

Just a small find but very happy with them :)
This cool sunny (my first brushable sunny actually) who lights up, rolls around and talks, but she’s missing her microphone so some features don’t work

These 2 really pretty Elsa figures! I love all the details like the transparent cape and idk if you can tell but all the buttons on the top of her dress are painted a metallic purple. Plus the faces are so nice. These 2 were made in Vietnam and look at there faces compared to this one of Sofia the First’s sister that was made in China lolF6D79ED6-BED1-446C-846C-D58743A07963.jpeg32DEB810-45DB-48AA-A5B5-968D2FC436C1.jpeg787E4439-97BA-439F-BC12-9F176EF1E6CB.jpeg0EDE6B1A-22B4-4115-A78E-B2F856969921.jpeg
And lastly, does anyone recognize this little guy? He was in the bag with the Elsa’s but he’s got no markings at all (my mom says he looks like a cat version of malificent)

Congrats on some more fantastic finds!! I miss thrift store shopping, I haven’t been in some time.

This Sunny is probably one of my favourite G5 toys, she’s basically a G5 Rx racer pony and she’s delightful.
