The last few years it has become a tradition for people to post a "thankful" status in the days leading up to (U.S.) Thanksgiving. I have really enjoyed reading the "thankful" statuses of some of my friends on FB each day of the month of November. It has inspired me to participate this year and I thought it would be nice to start a thankfulness thread here too. Please feel free to participate. :ponylove:

Each day post one sentence stating something/someone you are thankful for. It is as simple as that.

I will start...

I am thankful for my husband, who supports me in so many wonderful and unexpected ways.

I am thankful for my son, who has made this past year such an eye opening introduction to what it means to be a mom.

I am thankful for this warm little dog, keep my toes from getting breezy.

We already had our thanksgiving here in Canada but I still want to participate in this lol. I am thankful for my beloved dog Bailey, my best friend in the world, who is loyal no matter what, and has made one of my dreams come true by becoming one of the best small Agility dogs in my class. She is ready to compete and start winning me some ribbons!

We do not celebrate thanksgiving here but we can always be thankful without the party ;)

I'm thankful for my awesome parents and friends who supports me and will cheer me up when ever I'm sad.

I am thankful for my parents--they gave me the best possible start in life filled with unconditional love and acceptance. I wouldn't be the woman I am today without them!

I am very thankful for my wonderful partner - he has been through so much crap because of my illness and has even moved across the country so I would be more comfortable. He loves me no matter what and I love him with all my heart!

I'm thankful for my beautiful children, and how much they enjoy school.

I'm thankful for having food to eat everyday for my entire family~

I'm thankful for all the love I have in my life. Over the last year in my life, love has consumed me. Before that, I'm afraid, I was consumed by angst. I feel I have grown quite a bit over the years.

I am very thankful for my son. My took care of the farm so I could have a day off with my partner (and I'm thankful for her to boot!).

I'm thankful for my boyfriend, who shares my interests, loves me for who I am, is always there for me when I need him, supports me through everything and puts up with my crap. I'm happy that I got my fairytale romance and I hope that one day I get my happily ever after too.

I'm thankful for my mom, who listens and understands, always tries to help me, is proud of my talents and achievements, and still wants to give me the world despite barely making enough to get by on. I would have been a very different person today if she hadn't been the one to raise me, and I want her to stick around for as long as possible.

I am thankful for having a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in and food in the fridge, clothes on my back, and electricity and running water (most of the time).

I am thankful for the simple pleasures and beautiful things in life – like my boyfriend's smile and his laughter, the rain and the way it makes the air smell afterwards, the feeling of being clean after a bath, warm towels from the dryer, walking barefoot on grass or soft carpets or cold stone, lying in bed, eating good food, drinking hot chocolate, smelling flowers, playing with small animals, looking at photographs and artwork or listening to music. I live each day to experience things.

I'm thankful for my husband, who is everything to me. He is my best friend, the best father our son could ever have, and a wonderful provider who always puts his family first.

I am thankful for my Grandma who has raised me as her own and still does everything she can to make me happy.

I am grateful for rain. We're still in a pretty bad drought, even with the earlier flooding. Today we're getting rain. My animals are out practically dancing around in it. When it flooded, I had two younger goats who were beyond frightened, because they had literally no idea what rain was.

I am grateful for the terrific friends I've made on this board. This forum and my others have allowed me to meet such wonderful people.

I am thankful for my furry children. They may drive me up the wall at times, but our life would be so empty without those cold noses sticking themselves where they don't belong!
