November Thankfulness Thread

I am thankful for annoying people. Because without them, I would probably have no patience.
 
So high, Marble? It's $2.56-ish here.

Guess causin' we got all them thar oil wells.
 
I'm grateful for video games, for the escapism they provide and the ability to live out my fantasies as the type of beautiful badass I could never be in real life.

I'm grateful that I had 4.5 incredible years with my cat soulmate, Jinx, before he got sick, and that I could help him pass on with dignity. I'm grateful that I had Toby, even if it was only for two years, and I hope that I gave him a happy life, despite the pain and suffering he went through at the end. And I'm grateful that I still have Furby to comfort me and make me happy with her cute face and bizarre antics.
 
I am thank for my other wonderful soul mate. My Bubbie Leia has been my best friend since were little kids. She's a wonderful guide, someone I can always turn to, she always so much love in her heart. Now she's going to join the marines. She's already a thousand miles away and now she'll be across the world. It's so hard to part but I'm so proud of her. She's going from a ****** bum to fighting for our country. I'm so thankful to have her in my life!
 
Today I am thankful for naptime. Because everyone needs that hour or so downtime (and for mommas...some free time to catch up on and clean up everything your toddler has been into all morning!)
 
I'm going to be again grateful for my son. I got some very bad news today and as I hung up the phone and started to weep (a friend is very, very ill) suddenly there he was, wanting to know why I was crying. He's an Aspie, and sometimes puzzled as to what to do in social situations, but he was willing to do anything to console me. I have such a good son. I so hope his dad knows what a wonderful gift he left me with, where ever he may be in the wide universe.
 
I am grateful for Wolfer and Snowpuff, and of course, their very cuddly, midget pup, playful dad Smokestack.
They brought me happiness when I felt down, comfort when I was sad, poop when I had to clean up, they understood me and I understood them (like that other day when there was a rock and it was actually a spider lol) but mostly, they brought me C.C.F

I wouldn't be saying this if it wasn't fora those wonderful, little puppies (let's say that they are not puppies anymore. And not so little anymore lol)

I am thankful people with pretty coloured leaves take pictures of them to enjoy because we went from green to brown overnight. Barely any pretty yellow or reds this year here, but I'm seeing some stunning pics from up north!

Oops, I missed a day so I guess I will give two!

I am thankful for my co-workers--they are an amazing group of people to fall back on.

And today I am thankful for my husband and our marriage. Today marks our 6th year as a married couple and we couldn't be happier. I could have never asked to say "I do" to a better partner in life!

I am thankful for my animals: Trooper and Pigarus the guinea pigs, Beasty and Luna the kitties, and Kappa Kurt the beta fish. Despite being poop factories I love them all so dearly and I'm thankful for all the love they have given to me.
