November Thankfulness Thread

I am thankful for having such a loving man in my life who would do anything to make sure that i am happy and healthy

I'm thankful I made the time to get groceries and Christmas presents for my family today. And that I have such a loving, attention seeking cat to keep me company as I work from home as well as out of the house. Also thankful I have a good income this semester. :Flutter:

I'm thankful that my students (sometimes) make my days better.
Mine do, too. They've been giving me so many compliments this semester, and I'm so grateful, especially because life's been so chaotic otherwise the past year.

Today I'm grateful for how my Nana devoted so much time when I was a kid to make me a cultured, well-rounded person. She bought me art books, took me to the ballet and even a Broadway show, despite how I was in a constant state of rebellion from the age of 11 right up until about 28! Somehow she knew that one day those things would hold a lot of meaning to me. I miss you, Nana!

Today I'm grateful for Walhalla Road. In the middle of my city is a secret road that goes into a ravine and when you are in it, you completely forget you're in the city at all. I take a walk there a few times a week. I love watching the squirrels and chipmunks get up to their business. Today I got this photo of a majestic stag!

Well, I've been remiss in posting thankfulness this week... In my defense, I got knocked flat on Tuesday by a cold that started creeping in Monday afternoon. Combine that with work, and swap coordination... And you have excuses that don't equate to not being thankful! Ha! So...

I am thankful that I had the ability to cancel classes on Tuesday so I could recover from the cold induced migraine that had me flat the whole day.

I am thankful that in both my Wednesday classes I had students spontaneously pray for healing over me in our opening class prayer time.

I am SO thankful that in my Wednesday rehearsal we FINISHED the dance we are creating for the faculty concert! All 9.5 minutes are mapped out with only a few spots that need editing!

Today, I'm thankful for coffee! Oh... Wait... I've been too thankful for that before... :winkpony: I am so grateful that yesterday, while my body and mind still aren't 100% well, and I was being careful teaching my two movement classes of the day, and only half my students were present in class because the other half had left campus early for Thanksgiving week... We all had a ridiculously good time in ballet and modern/improv, with too much laughing and a lot of learning and questions. I am so blessed to be a part of the GCU dance department and am so grateful for the opportunities God gives me to be part of these dancers' lives.

i am thankful that my fiancés job is taking great care of him since his auto accident on august first, they have taken care of everything since it happened in the company car. they are seeing that he is being taken care of the doctor and making sure that he still has a job while he is out of commission. Today we are going up to the facility and they are giving us a free turkey or ham to say they are thankful for their workers, its a really great company so far and im thankful he has a job that he enjoys and talks so highly about.
