OMG! Mystery pony! Could it be..? EDIT: Braided Beauty! Ha!

Okay, normally I don't post things like this. But!

Today I got home from school and found out that my friend had phoned about having ponies for me. Now that alone, is pony joy!

So I called her back. She said she had three ponies for me that she found at a thrift store. I asked her to describe them. She told me that one was velvety and all pink. I'm guessing it might be either SS Lickety Split or SS Hippity Hop (or SS Heart Throb). She also said that there was a smaller one which she didn't think was authentic at the time, but her mom said that she remembered them being released when she was little. She didn't give any more details on this one.

Then, she desbribed the last one. She told me it was a green pony.. with yellow, green, pink, and white hair..

She told me I could come pick them up tomorrow if I have a way of getting over to her house.

A green pony? With yellow, green, pink, and white hair? Could it be..?

Does anyone know of any other pony with these colours other than Mimic?

I won't be able to sleep tonight!

EDIT: See my post on page 2! It didn't end up being Mimic afterall.. ^^;
 
weeeell.. don't keep your hopes up. if it is Mimic, she got the colors wrong, so it's really just as likely that she has Sunlight, or Starflower.




It might be, but if I were you I'd try to focus on what the baby might be instead of that.. because you could be sorely disappointed.
 
Oh, I know. I'm not getting my hopes up too high.
I'm very prepared for tomorrow, and the possibility of finding out that this pony is not Mimic.

The colours she described would be right, if the Mimic had faded hair. When she described the hair colours, I don't think she stated them in any particular order.

I thought of Sunlight, but Sunlight doesn't have any white in her hair. Starflower's colours are also a lot different.

But hey, either way - a pony is a pony.
There's a possibility it could be Mimic, but even if it isn't, I'm still happy! I already have a Mimic, and the fact alone that she picked some ponies up for me is exciting!

Actually getting you hopes up it's not such a bad thing. At least you had the chance to be happy for a while even if it doesn't turn out to be what you want.
It's much worse exepcting the worst all the time IMO, cuz' if things doesn't happen you have worried for nothing ;)

But all you really can do is wait and see. I will keep my fingers crossed for you =) Let us know who the mystery ponies are :)

An old friend of mine gave me her childhood mimic. We were in the same class and started talking on the phone and she was like oh I have some ponies!! So she went through her basement and she started describing a pony..."Shes light green and has a bird on her... shes a unicorn" at first I had no clue then I was like OMG MIMIC!!!! She was in rough condition and unfortuantely my friend tried fixing her and only made her worse!! Poor mimic. I still wont replace her though.

Mimic is trying to show Hasbro what the pony world looks like through our eyes.. =D

That kidna happened to me once. This girl from college was describing her ponies and one sounded an awful lot like Mimic. But it was Fizzy :(
 
Ooh, it might be Braided Beauty!
I don't know, I'll be going over to her house in a little while to pick up the ponies.

Even if it's not Mimic, I'll still be happy. ^^
I'll be sure to post and let you all know who these ponies are when I receive them!
 
I got them!

Yep, the mystery pony did end up being Braided Beauty.. haha.
But that's okay, because she was on my wantlist anyway! =)

The other two ponies were SS Heart Throb and Little Whiskers, a Teeny Tiny baby pony!

They still need to be cleaned.. ^^;

Both Little Whisker's hair and the stripe in Braided Beauty's hair are amazingly pink! Little Whiskers still has factory curl and Braided Beauty's hair should be nice and silky after a bit of cleaning (even though it doesn't look like it in the pic). SS Heart Throb has seen better days though..

But, whatever, I'm happy! In the end, I thought it was very thoughtful of my friend to pick up ponies for me. =)
