CONVENTION Pony Friends Forever in San Antonio Tx

I wish I could go to PFF! I was going to originally try to go to year’s before covid popped up and cancelled everything…but being a teacher, I can’t get away in November. If they continue with it—and keep it in November—maybe in a couple years I can justify getting away and use a personal day or two lol I am so happy for everyone who gets to go. San Antonio has so many unique things to do…and of course…ponies!

Oh what do you teach? I teach as well, but I’ll be using a few personal days just because of the drive.

I teach middle school and junior high English. This is actually year ten for me as well, but I haven’t changed districts in a while. I think that’s a good plan actually. I probably should hold off going this year, but we skipped having a vacation this summer since my wife had surgery. She has interest in visiting the area so kinda two birds with one stone.

I find it fairly difficult to find any pony meetups in my area (Brony meetups or pony meetups that encompass ALL gens). The main problem, for me is that certain sites don’t update their meetup map, many meetup groups that once advertised themselves have disbanded, or new ones may have cropped up that don’t advertise themselves, or that I just don’t know about, or that it’s just far more difficult to find meetup groups that aren’t exclusive to just one generation of MLP, due to the fandoms of MLP not wanting anything to do with each other and encompass all gens of pony, so they just don’t interact and hold all gen meetups.

So I’m just wondering if there are ANY pony meetups of ANY gen in South Carolina, or around New Orleans, Louisiana? (And on a slightly separate note- are there any pony cons or events happening in mid/end October?)

Same here, I can find g4 only cons, but I don’t want that

aahhh I hope I can go to a con one day! I just have no idea how to find some close to me plus ones that aren't focused on G4/brony.

I live nowhere near there but it looks so fun! I went to something kinda like this for dolls once (well I was bringing my aunt something she forgot and walked around for a while after, but I didn’t get a ticket or anything) but it was just people talking about and displaying and I think selling dolls. There weren’t any fun games or contests (there was a raffle), I had no idea they did those at pony meets

If I could make it. I would so come to a pony friend meet! School’s starting at the end of the month, so even if we could afford it, we wouldn’t have time!

I might be able to attend a small meet depending on how far it is since I’m in a different state. Right now it looks iffy if we can attend Pony Friends. I would have to take off work and it’s just kinda expensive at the moment. I’m afraid I could afford the trip but not have extra for ponies. A day trip pony meet though would be cool.
