MLPTP EVENT She Turned into a Pumpkin Pie (Step #3 Discussion)

we don't have pumpkin pies here :-( what to do???

CC, you could try making a pie :)
I'm sure you could find a recipe online, and if you can't find all of the ingredients at the regular store, try a specialty food store.
 
Pumpkin pie isn't something we make here in Australia, or at least not that I've heard of.

So I've got a recipe for it and I'm going to make one tomorrow. I can't wait to see what it actually tastes like!!
 
There is indeed pumpkin in pumkin pie. Many people thinkit's super yummy, I think it's gross. But I think my housemates like it so they can have the leftovers :pumpkin2:

I think iam going to walmart tomorrow to purchase all this stuff and have some fun!!!
 
I'm afraid of this step. The only pumpkin pie I've ever had in this house was here last week for Canadian Thanksgiving. Where am I going to get another one? Maybe in the states....'cause heaven knows I can't make one...

I never even knew Pumpkin Pie existed until this challenge!! We make Pumpkin soup here. But I am looking forward to making it and tasting it!!

we just happened to have had a craving for pumpkin pie earlier this week.
 
oh no! my hubby ate the rest of our pie! guess i'm buying a new one! Hopefully they still have some left over for sale. :)
 
I doubt I'd find a place that will let me do that in the store T.T OR have the guts to ask...
 
Okay, Roogna, you've won my awe! I never guessed the first reply would go for the full points! I hope you paid for that before you stuck the pony in! :lol:

This step would have terrified me last year. All the grocery stores around here have up signs about no photography in the store. Also, I hate whipped cream -- blech!
 
I'm actually excited about asking the store employee to help me with this! Hopefully they'll find it funny. I guess we'll just have to see how it goes.

I never knew that pumpkin pie was so exclusive to the U.S. either! :lol: Thats interesting.
