Oh, I've been into Rune Factory and BokuMono for a good fifteen years! I was there when the very first game launched. Made and sold rubber band bracelets to the sympathetic old ladies at church so I could buy it! I was never any good at it though, since I main the BokuMono series, so the first RF game I got into in earnest was definitely 4, which is still my favorite! Clorica and Arthur have my heart in a chokehold :cry: I'm considering picking it back up and playing while waiting for 5!

Ah, Martin's so cool! Honestly, they knocked the bachelors out of the park in this game. I had such a hard time choosing, and I almost always go for the bachelorettes! The only bachelorette that really caught my eye here was Ludmila, and as much as I love her, I just... Lucas... so good... coincidentally I keep getting both of them on the quiz! I'm either really lucky, or subconsciously throwing it in my favor. :s

That's hard core! My dad bought me my copy of 2 when I was 7/8 years-old he thought it was just another harvest moon game but it was so much more!
In 2 I married the fortune teller Alicia, woot!woot! never pay to water my crops again! Lol

I started rf4 on 3ds in 2016! And upgraded to special on my 22 birthday in 2020!
And the love of my runefactory life has and will always be my sweet Dougie! <3 <3 <3

You saw that Doug's coming back for 5, right? Ugh, he looks SO good too! I'm weak for male characters with ponytails (which is why I almost chose Reinhard). I wish he was a marriage candidate again, but as this probably takes place a number of years after 4 I understand why he's not. (He's also got one of the best marriage events in 4, so I like to think in canon he married Frey, and I refuse to hear otherwise until 5 says so.)

Oh yeah, I am DEFINITELY picking up 4 again. It's been too long! And I'm impatient over 5! Ah, I'm so excited!!

I already know! I watched the Japanese rf5 direct live! I literally cried happy tears!
And he's so grown-up! omg he's so hot!!! I'd totally merry him again in a heartbeat! And it's totally Cannon that Doug married Frey, in my mind too!

And I was stuck on reinhard vs Martin for the first 6 month's after the Bachelor trailer!

I was so tempted to play 4 again today! I just came off of an 81 hour play though of Tokyo mirage sessions #fe encore, I was attempting to get all of the trophies and achievements in the game and I need to take a break!
So I'm starting slow and playing animal crossing then probably move to runefactory, I've got some serous level grinding to do on my weapon crafting.
I need a nice set of duel blades that have a 5000 or better attack stat and some armor and accessories that null poison/para/magic seal for rune parana I'm currently on my way to ventty
Edit on page 148 of this thread I went into a full YouTube worthy "history of runefactory" dialogue that spans several paragraphs of text ;p lol I might be obsessed.

Well I have moved I am in SC. Foot still hurts and broke got to see a doctor up here but that will be ok.
 
I have to do a home sleep study tomorrow night. Which is nicer than a sleep study at a clinic, but I’m still weirdly nervous. Husband says I’ve been having bad apnea at night so I might end up needing a CPAP machine.;;

Those machines are a bit unwieldy, but they really aren’t that bad. They can make such a difference if you need them. It’s like night and day.

Thanks to @MegaLeafeon, I was inspired to finish what I started long ago: hit 100% completion on RF4S (well, Eliza’s requests anyway). And tonight, I did it. I finally did it! It was lowkey, even more so than completing the third arc, but I’m still so proud of myself.

I've gone crazy, what was supposed to be a quick visit to my villagers turned into an all out tear down and rebuild of my whole town in animal crossing! :)

I promise this is the last I'll rant about RF5 for a while, I just had to get this off my chest, I'm sorry

We're still over a week out from the game's launch and I'm already agonizing over how I'm going to dress my character. I love Ares' default outfit! But I preordered the Earthmate Edition, meaning I'll be getting the RF4 Candidates outfits, and Ares in Arthur's outfit looks goooood (especially since it lacks Arthur's massive, voluminous coat, which makes it easier to separate from Arthur himself). But! We'll also be getting free outfits based on the protag outfits in Tides of Destiny, and since I have RF4S save data on my Switch I'll be getting Lest and Frey's outfits too, and Aden's and Lest's outfits suit Ares really well.

I have been stressing over which outfit to put him in for a solid hour now.

I haven't felt this much attachment to a protagonist since FoMT, heh...

I could never get sick of taking about rune factory, or hearing other people talk about it either!
That said I'd probably flip flop back and fourth between Ambers dress and Freys norm for outfits!
 
Man, there is *too much* on my mind this morning...

Still working nights, though they've calmed down considerably (in comparison to February.) The beginning of calving season was awful. Just... a lot happened outside of our control. On the bright side, I think we used up all of our bad luck in one go and things have been smooth from that point on. Only a couple weeks left to go! Then I can start sleeping at night like a normal person. :DD

I brought my 3DS along so I can play during quiet nights. Been having a blast replaying the Ace Attorney series and Animal Crossing! I started my... I think eighth town? I've lost track. It's traditional for me to start a new town every January. I'm hoping to make this one into a pink forest.

I'm sorry you guys are still having such cold temperatures. :( We had seven consistent weeks of freezing; it was hard on animals and people alike. Some of my critters are actually overweight because they didn't exercise... just sat around in their houses and ate. Our snow is melting rapidly and I can finally start planning spring projects. Gardens, new chickens, and horse riding are just a few points on my list.

And repairs... many many repairs...

One of my dogs, my sweet Biscuit passed away about 5 weeks ago… :sadpony: and I just hadn’t really been in a very social mood, you know? And this site is such a nice cheerful place that I didn’t wanna bring that down anyway. But I thought I’d come back on
