I have got a new question this morning but my questions are late in the day so I can’t ask yet as it’s not been a whole 24 hours!

Today Rarity has found a couple clues!

It looks like there is a total of 5 ponies behind the mask.
It now seems that we have identified both Rainbow Flash and Pinkie Pie!
The others will not be as commonly known to our sleuths as some have broken free from their prisons and they're now out for revenge!! Oh my, my, my we MUST bust this mystery!! I hope the Mare-Do-Well will not have to save us from these hooligans!

Now I have a feeling that my guess may not be correct... but I’ll still guess it anyway when my time comes! Best to rule out what we can in order to get down to the right answers
 
So... 5 ponies. One earth g1, g3 rainbow flash, g4 pinkie pie, one fourth pony possibly g1, fifth pony?

Yes, one blue, possible shs, there is purple, g1 has some pink, the g4 has been in a reboot release, some multi colored hair.

No Pegasus, bb, spike, no non pony g1, no cp, some multi colored hair, no purple g4, no orange, no extra symbols on any, no babies, no ss, no g2, no flutters, no baby exists of the g1, no seapony, no mpp, no g3.5, no g1 or g4 unicorns.

Not g1 bowtie, silky slipper, lemon drop, powder, cotton candy, blossom, firefly, bb trucker, zig zag, princess royal blue, sun glider, or posey.
Not g4 rarity, blossomforth, dj pon, or cupcake, big mac, photo finish, Celestia, cheerily, or rainbow dash.
Not g3 seascape, garden wishes.

Skybreeze questioned everyone's assumption about two G1s (although there still could be, with the confirmation of 5 ponies), and together with the specifying about No G1 unicorns.. It got me thinking, maybe we had a G3 unicorn under there, and it had me evaluating the "Yes and also no" about the G1 being an earth pony in a different way. Had me thinking maybe it was something that was like an earth pony in many respects, but was not. That's where I got Zigzag from

I think you're on the right track with it being a pony friend, possibly even a molly or Megan.

I know she didn't realize the implication of the question but "'Normal size' for their releases." does not rule out My Pretty Pony.

It is quite the conundrum. That is probably why I'm not really trying, just a diverting guess.

I thought Oakley because “some purple”

EDIT:
Now I look at Oakley, I can’t tell if the colour is more pink instead and may come across to other people as pink or lilac... more like a Parma Violets colour... I’ve already put in my guess but I’m not sure if it’s been missed

I think you misunderstand me. I wasn't thinking "pony friend" in general. I was thinking specifically of Zigzag because out of all the pony friends Zigzag, being a zebra, is an equid and very similar to an earth pony but isn't one.

I originally wrote "Either she didn't realize or she purposefully worded it in a vague way" but then changed it because it almost sounded like metagaming.
 
Maybe the "Yes and also No" is that it's a special set? Or it's what we originally thought it was.. There are some sets that haven't been ruled out... Idk, what do I know anyway..
