MLPTP EVENT Who's that G-G-G-Ghost Chatter

So many ponies. It took us 12 hours to sort through them all.

Ha ha! I do, what you can’t see behind the boxes is shelving full of my crafting and sewing stuff.
Yay! Sewing! Do you have any sewing machines? If so, what brand and model!?

Woah! That a lot of pony time :lolpony:
Yes. It was fun, exciting but also exhausting. Lol My brain was mush afterwards.

Yes! My main machine is a Singer is a great little workhorse of a machine. Then I have a serger (an ancient Husqvarna also a workhorse) and industrial edging/hemming (unsure if brand I ever use it) machine as well.

Ha ha! I thought the same but about 8hrs in I was ready for it to be over. Lol Big lots is a lot of work, well over 1,000 ponies in these boxes and totes.

Ooooh a viking serger! Fancy! Anything Viking is supper high quality with a price tag that matches!
I've been wanting a serger for so long. I've been eyeing a brother 1034D for quite some time, it's got that happy middle ground of quality and second hand price for me.
I currently have a brother se425, and my beloved Montgomery ward 1984 in working condition!

Yes, it was a very lucky marketplace find. I used to have the Brother 1034D it’s a great machine too! I had given mine to my aunt when I got the upgrade. I’ve been pretty lucky with finding machines second hand and then just taking to a local sewing store to repair and service my machines. I’ve been on the hunt for a good embroidery machine for awhile now but may end up just buying new provided life can throw me a bone and allow me to use my savings for a selfish buy vs a medical bill of some sort lol.

Does your industrial hemming machine have an open oil pan or an enclosed oil pan?
Do you know what stiches it can do? I'd guess just a straight stitch, maybe a zig zag if they were feeling fancy, hmmmm
What kind of things do you make on you machine's!?
With a setup like yours I'd make Japanese Lolita fashion!
I'm currently only using my machines for alteration, and repair.

It’s enclosed, from what I know (I don’t really use it) it does a straight, zig zag and overlock kinda deal.

I make a lot of sustainable items, like feminine hygiene products, makeup wipes, unpaper towels. Last Christmas I made plush and comfy blankets for my family (and myself). I’ve also done dog clothes (coats & sweaters for the winter months) and I’ve made scrub tops for myself. I have fabric to make hoodies but I’m worried about cutting into my purdy limited fabrics and making a big mistake and ruining it. I’ve also done a lot of toy accessories, clothing and plushie repairs on them.

I have this super cute mint, and pink, one yard bolts of sparkle cupcakes fabric and it is fabulous! I can't bring myself to cut it its just so pretty! But
My absolute favorite fabric type has to be mochi minky! It's that super soft material that plush from Japan are made of!

Oh the minky! My local joannes started selling it like a year ago and I bought sooo much, it’s amazing :ponylove:
The other one I like is called Sew Lush and it’s just very soft plush fabric, and it’s double sided which is a plus

When I got my first job it was right near a library and sometimes I’d come home with cookbooks to try baking some random recipes (since I had money to buy ingredients lol) and my brother thought I was nuts for using a book instead of just looking them up online XD

Well I do look most stuff up online, it’s just that I didn’t know what I wanted to make. I wanted to try new recipes and finding random ones is easier flipping through a desert cook book than through all of the internet lol :) ended up with some really yummy raspberry cinnamon rolls

I'm a visual learner, but I can visualize what I read very easily. I can't seem to retain auditory information. I need to see it, write it, do it, something more. If I only hear it, it literally goes in one and out the other.

You know... I'm thinking that an ice cream cone probably isn't "nature themed" lol. Only I would find ice cream cones to be "nature" themed.

If you drop it on the ground, in a park, it becomes part of nature :3
