If it was wrong, then I am right there with you. E got her first on Tuesday. So far, so good. We’ll have to see how it pans out together.
Good to know we're not alone. I didn't get too sick so hopefully he won't on the second. I was more worried about a reaction of some kind but he seems to be in the clear with a really sore arm.

The other day Action Hank and I headed to town and I rescued an Ornate Box Turtle from the road. No traffic, so I was able to nab him, limp back to the van drop him off in a nearby field. Easy peasy! Then though as we got near the lake by town, we stopped for another turtle, a very large (maybe 18 inches from nose to tail) RedEarred Slider. There was a lot more traffic and a quickly approaching truck in the turtle's lane. I stood fearfully by, hoping the truck would miss him. Instead he stopped, blocked the lane off so I could safely dash out and shoo big boy out of the road, then even waited till I was safely back in the van and we were on our way. I waved and blew him kisses. He was so kind to help me that way when in the past I've had drivers almost hit me, or most horrid, I've had them speed up and hit the animals I'm trying to save. Last year in particular I had an old woman hit a box turtle I was trying to save. She sped up and struck it right in front of me, even with me and another man trying to wave her down so she wouldn't hit the poor thing. I cried so hard. So the man in the truck just will never know how his kindness touched me on a day I really, really needed to see some humanity in others. What a wonderful man. And what a lucky turtle!

(we've had so much rain, the critters are all over the roads! If only people would slow down just a smidge to save them)
You are a saint. You don't see folks stopping to help animals like that anymore. I tried to save a turtle a few months ago (I don't know much about the different types but I do know enough to stay safe) and it was a snapping turtle. That thing was fast and very aggressive, it was like a western showdown between us in the middle of the road, needless to say I left him because he was so mad I was afraid I would loose a finger. He literally ran across the road so fast then, at least I accomplished what I was trying to do.

I dub thee Foof, rescuer of turtles!

I hope the kiddos don't get too crummy feeling from the Fauci Ouchi. My mom and little brother just got their 2nd doses yesterday and have been dealing with the chills/sweats/fever but it will pass. I've been fully vaccinated since the beginning of March. I got the fever/chills/aches and all but it only lasted a day or two. I guess it's what we all gotta do to hopefully get a leg up on this pandemic.
My hubby thought your fauchi ouchi comment was great by the way.

I’ve noticed a slide down in our mutual pony positivity lately. You’re all my pony family and I wanted to share some happy. I’m getting my entire house new pipes in the next two days. With the guarantee on the work, I should be free of plumbing problems for a while! I also got my carpal tunnel surgery and it’s healing well. Plus, I’m so excited about the christmas swap! It’s just not chritmas without it. I’m so grateful to all my pony friends for being there and helping each other through this crazy year. <group hug>

Does anyone else have something happy to say?

p.s. I’m going to try to get a picture of all this year’s ponies when the pipes are in. Maybe we can see the pony goodness everyone got?
I’d love to hear and talk about positivity with everyone! Congratulations on your new pipes!! Our new landlords recently put in a new toilet (the old one kept leaking around the base) and fixed the hinge on the inner front door that had finally literally came off the top hinge! So now it opens Normally and that is So nice!! It took some tricks to close it before lol. I’m glad your carpel tunnel surgery is healing well!! I have to get knee replacements probably in the next 5 years which is at least partly because I’ve had to do physical therapy like 7 times over the past 6 years... too many sit to stands are hard on the knees. But I’ll recover and be stronger than ever!! In the meantime I’m working on getting much stronger, if I can. I got a Nordictrack elliptical on sale recently and I wanted to start using it right away, but my brother and his wonderful girlfriend said I should get stronger or I won’t be safe on it. Now, while it was frustrating to learn that I need to get stronger first, I do consider myself lucky that I was warned about this and didn’t find out while trying to use it while not strong enough! I’m in physical therapy now and doing all I can to get stronger the Safe and Slow way to do it as advised by my physical therapists. I’ll get stronger and work up to walks and do other things! I feel So Much more positive about my health and strength now that I’m in Pt again. My illness has flare ups which often causes
weakness, sometimes to the point that i can’t do much of anything until they’re over in 3 weeks to 3 months. So it’s ok because I can survive this and still have good times!! I’m also moving soon into what will be a better-maintained apartment; my Mom and I live together since I’ve needed her help with illnesses, which I started getting while in college. So we drove by a couple of places yesterday, but they’re probably too far from my doctor’s office to make sense, plus they’d involve a lot of walking— even just to get from the parking area into the building. I can’t walk well during flare ups. I have a wheelchair from back when I was first ill but I won’t be able to use it until I lose weight. And I’d rather not use it, to be honest. I like walking! So anyway, my Mom and I are looking into a considering other places. I’d Really like to have a 3 bedroom place or a big bedroom so I can display at least parts of my collections!!

Just found out Good Omens, one of my favorite tv shows is getting a season 2! The writer had said that he wasn’t ever planning to do more, so it’s a very nice surprise

Thanks to a good friend I was able to get the two barbies I was looking for
