I am soo very excited about my partner. They have a great list of ponies to choose from and the extras are going to be so fun to shop for!:bat:
 
I don't feel so bad for having all my ponies already for my partner :) Now just some extra's and neat-o wrapping paper and I'll be packing this thing up :)

I'm so excited to be part of this swap! Two of my favorite things combined - MLP and Halloween, together at last. This list of likes and dislikes may look familiar as it's copied and pasted from the details I posted for the Rainbow Swap. ;)

Pony Condition: I'm pretty fussy about my ponies so no haircuts, stains, marks or smooze. No overly frizzy hair either please! I have bad luck with fixing frizz... :p

Things that are spooky and cute at the same time - like skulls with bows on their heads. Think Roman Dirge, Tim Burton, and Tarina Tarintino style things!
Hair flowers - I love a big 'ol flower for my hair - or hair accessories with feathers!

Jewlery! (Love bracelets, big chunky ones à la Tarino Tarantino. Not that I'd expect Tarina Tarantino jewlery as it's insanely priced, but there's copycat jewlery done in her style eeeeeeverywhere.)
Kitties! I have three. Like a crazy cat person. But I'm married so that makes it alright... ...right?
Tea!
Starbucks!
Makeup! Especially from Sephora. I'm a Sephora junkie. Love their samples too - they'll give you free samples of just about anything if you ask. One might even say they're "swap box sized." *wink*
OPI Nail polish!
Exclaimation marks! (!!!)

Things I don't like:
Licorice
Coffee flavoured things
Glitter on things
Strong smelling soaps or strongly perfumed things - I have crazy sensitive skin. Seriously, it has the durability of a wet kleenex.

My Favorite Pony: Glory. *sigh* I love her chubby pony butt.

hehehe.... found the pony for my swappartner..... hope she´ll like it.... I had just missed it before I was given my swappartner, but the pony came out again on tradera.... so now I will get her.... I will know for sure next monday....:allecto:

Then later this week I can go looking for some nice things to send with the cute little pony....

As far as partners go, do *I* have the same person who has me as a partner?

Or is it like Person A has Person B for a partner, but Person B is buying for Person C?

Just curious!!!

I bought the first halloween goodies today. In Germany we haven't much halloween accessoires, so I thought it would be the best to get them fast. ;-)

The pony part is a bit harder for me, but I expect a box full of ponies this week in the mail and there is one of my partners wishlist ponies included. I hope it's in the condition I expect it.
 
Yay! Already have ponies in the mail for my partner. Now I just need to wait for the stores to start selling Halloween stuff (I <3 bulk candy ;) )

The way it was explained to me, from people who have done swap's before, is that you person A buy's for person B and person B buy's for person C, so you buy for one person and receive from another... but I could be wrong.

Thanks Novavelle, that's what I was wondering! :) And are we supposed to keep it a secret who our partner is until the package arrives? I noticed no one has been spilling names in their posts. ;) If so, this is so much fun! Hee hee.
 
What I always do is write everyone's names on little pieces of paper, throw them in a bowl and then go down the list of sign ups. For each name I put my hand in the bowl and pick out another name. So it's completely random :)

It's never been a rule to keep your partner's name quiet, but we usually do, it adds to the excitement :)
 
This is so exciting, I'm so stoked that I went for the Halloween swap this year.

Just wanted to add that my wishlist is on page two- I had edited my first comment to add my likes/dislikes and just wanted to mention that in case my partner is still waiting for me to add a new post... hehe.
 
uhm.... SSC.... just to clear it to your partner, but your wishlist is on page 3.... not 2...:oops:
And maybee you can be more spesific in your candy.... I for one don´t know any of the candy you want... But that´s probably because I live in an other country... your partner maybee live in the same as you... but just to be safe, maybee you can change it? I think that goes to all of us.... for example, we don´t have most of the candy that you have in the US... so it would be good to know what kind it is, in stead of the name of the candy.... sorry to be a pain, but it would make it a lot easier for us from other countries.... :oops:

now I feel like a nosy little woman.... :tongue: sorry SSC....
