FLAWS - unacceptable/acceptable​

for the "old" ponies = no pin dot mold, major symbol rubs, chew marks, no haircuts to mane or tail, please hopefully, no smoke or other funky smells. Small rubs on NDS or small marks that can be hidden by hair or can’t really see when displayed (writing on the feet) or marks that can be sun-faded I’m fine with. I can paint in eye rubs if everything else is fine… like most folks, I prefer ponies to be in excellent condition, but hey, these are like 30 year old, probably played with toys, so some wear and tear is understandable and I don’t consider myself a picky G1 collector as I have no MIB/MOC. ​




BIG PLUS if you are able to take a "bait" pony and fix her up = I am fine with that... I myself have done little repairs from swaps and ebay lots like replacing cut tails from donors and stuff. So if you luck out and get a $2buck pony and make her look awesome for display = yay :) My ponyroom collection is totally about creating a rainbow in an otherwise grey office space so please feel free to save some money and use your talents to rework any of my colors ponies as I am not looking to have this simply be about an investment (nice side effect in 50 years but not banking on it...) as I am just now totally bitten by the whole arty side of the my little pony world :)​



for the "new" ponies" = the G3’s on the other hand, I am picky about and prefer pristine ponies (but then those girls should be pristine if one is paying $5 or more in this economy) ​

Love coffee = have a grinder so any kind of whole bean is fine to send​
Love pony drawings and sketches = trying to do more art with my girls and always love the thought and time that goes into a hand-made card or any other item



FOR HALLOWEEN - we totally go all over the front yard with lights, ghosts and spiders everywhere (I'll see if I can get a picture posted) don't do heavy gore but love all things with ghosts and spiders and BLACK CATS ;-)

Have 3 kids – all J’s = Jessica (6) Julianna (4) and Jason (2) so any inclusions are always part of the fun of getting pony mail as they definitely are on the watch with me come time for a mail delivery J​

Jessica absolutely loves everything rainbows, Julie loves sea ponies and Jason just loves to take the ponies and run away right now but overall things like lollipops, stickers, anything dollar store is great​

I found some cute halloween hair accessories - then I realized I don't know if my partner has long or short hair....

I have long red hair and love headbands! I do a lot of vintage updo's with my hair and therefore love hair flowers the best (or in terms of Halloween, a big fat clunky Halloween clip - or maybe some orange and black flowers?) Not really a ponytail person.

My Halloween party! I love throwing a party every year and seeing everyone's awesome costumes... and taking tons of pictures! They're all here if anyone feels like getting into the spirit: Halloween Parties a la Chris and Jenny! (But beware around the kiddies! There may be some spooky stuff!)

3. What is your favorite Halloween Movie?

Zombie movies are my fave. The Dawn of the Dead remake ranks high up there. Also 28 Days Later. Really looking forward to the AMC Walking Dead miniseries too!

4. If you could be one thing for Halloween what would you be? (Besides a pony)

My dream Halloween costume if I have the money one day is a Victorian vampire. With a beautiful expensive corset, a HUGE poofy dress, big curls piled on top of my head and the fangs. Like a goth Marie Antoinette. 'Cept instead of "Let them eat cake," it's "Let them eat... each other." :tongue:

Just a general note to my lovely partner, whoever he or she may be: I LOVE Halloween, but I'm not a big fan of "cutesy" Halloween stuff. The "folk-art" kind of Halloween stuff that has raffia and orange and black checkerboard patterns. I like my Halloween more modern and gothic looking. Scary-like. However, I pretty much love everything Martha Stewart does for Halloween - her stuff strays away from folk art most of the time.

There are BATS everywhere! When it's not Halloween people tend to think I am strange for wearing bat shirts, earrings, etc. But I love 'em!

Ooh, tough one... I am not into horror movies, so I will have to think about it. ;)

Long hair and I usualy (almost everyday really) have it like Tinker Bells hairstyle. I like every hair accessory but I don't really like headbands because I think my ears look big when I wear them. lol

That everything is darker and more magical!! I like to stay up late on Halloween's night and watch the night sky. I can feel the magic!

My hair is long, but I don't do much with it. Usually just put it in a ponytail with a plain black elastic or a bun with my octopus clippie.

I love the 'Ween, as most people know. *lol* I love swap shopping, of course. Decorating my house, dressing up, carving jack-o-lanterns, and driving around to look at others' 'Ween-decorated houses.

I do have pets. The Boog likes stuffed toys. His diet is grain-free, which is expensive... so no treats, please.

The cats don't really need toys. They'll be happier with the balled-up giftwrap after I open my package. :p

How do you feel about soaps/lotions/candles?
I enjoy them, and there is a list of scents I like in my wish list. If my partner is planning to send anything of this sort, I prefer candles or tarts. I have enough body washes, bubble baths, lotions, etc. to keep me clean and smellin' yummy for at least two years.

I love fancy barrettes or clips or claws, and it's been years since I've worn a headband, but I'm not opposed to them :)
2. What is your favorite part of Halloween? Carving pumpkins and driving to the valley looking at all the beautiful fall colors :)

No kids, but I have one cat, Bittie, and she is my baby. She's a 9 year old Calico and is obsessed with thoselittle fur mice and anything with catnip lol
