I’ve been going through all my old photos and came across one of my absolute favourites. I remember doing this and my mom helping me do it. Looking back at these old memories definitely brought back a lot of fun and laughter today.

Cookie to whom ever can guess which of these are still with me today. (Hint 5 of them survived 30+ years with me.)
I hope the Care Bears survived. The cabbages, star buddy and Hugga bunch.
This is amazing news. I had student loans for 11 years and when they were paid off I nearly cried, and I’m not a crier. I bet you feel like an enormous weight has been lifted from you. Congratulations.I just got a letter telling me my student loans were forgiven I am so happy.
Although I was sent home from work today, due to direct Covid exposure with an infected person, I had a good day.
Before I left work, I was able to do some small, good things for some inmates. One unit at work has been locked up for two days straight and the guys were going crazy. I talked to each of them outside their cells, provided them with hot water and had their garbage removed.
They started yelling to each about how amazing I was for doing these things for them and as I was being escorted out, they were all yelling thanks to me.
It made me feel really good. It’s very difficult at the jail right now and people are afraid, as we had a staff member test positive. People are stressed and many of the staff are short tempered with the inmates and inmates are angry because they feel staff have brought Covid into the jail. I have been trying very hard to show kindness, understanding and compassion to both staff and inmates. It makes a difference. With my own life a bit of a disaster, I find it helpful to try to spread some good around. I wanted to share with you guys and let you all see how small acts can leave a big impression.
