What else do you collect?

Oh coolness! Send before and after pix!!

We have a few cabinets that are basically parts machines and had talked about making a custom game. I want it to be based on Dr Horribles Sing Along Blog. But, that is a daunting task. We still have a lot of finishing work to do for the arcade expansion. Maybe once that is done, we will try a custom cabinet.

Will do! lol it's been on the back burner for years so it probably won't be anytime soon! lol you'll just have to stick around the post till we get to it! :p

Wow that’s a really cool collection! How did you start collecting them?
We have one pirates of the Caribbean one but it’s a little smaller than a full size one
 
All my college friends played so when I found myself living alone after years of being married to someone uninterested in pinball, I decided I wanted one. I bought two and crammed them into my tiny apartment. Then my new love interest decided he had to have 2 as well. So, when we got married we started with 4 pins and it just kind of went crazy from there. Lol!
 
Lately I've gotten really, really into collecting MoonDreamers (side note, the MoonDreamers cartoon honestly has so much potential for a reboot). The toy line was relatively short-lived, which is a shame because there were a ton of awesome prototypes that never made it to the mass market, but on the bright side it means actually completing the collection is a bit more achievable.

I've also sort of unintentionally created a Sanrio collection. I just like cute things and it's so easy to grab Hello Kitty or My Melody stuff online or at a random Five Below or something.

But at the moment my favourite collection is my Cabinet of Curiosities, which includes a shell collection, a rock collection, a butterfly collection and odd items. It's crowned by a black bear skull, and features cowries, a hummingbird egg, and amethyst crystals I picked up myself once upon a time in Ireland, among other myriads of things. I love natural history.

I feel like, if you are going to post something like that, there should be pictures shared. That is too cool not to share!
 
I collect Tamagotchis, plushies (mostly from when I was addicted to Toreba, but I also like to make amigurumis), rocks, stuff I find on the beach, and inadvertently I collect art supplies! I'm always starting and dropping new craft type hobbies.

(Although, ew, I recently moved the shelf from one wall to another and when I picked up one of the sand dollars, some of the creature’s remains came out!)

That Gillette tin cracked me up, I've never seen it before. Also I love the little skeleton in pjs, not sure what that is.

Has anyone else bought a few My Little Demon dolls? I have Corpsey Puff, and (so far) 2 Squiddy-Plush, Tsunami Nom Nom and Cuddle Pus. (With another on the way.) Because my sense of humor is apparently deviant. Lol! I don't think of it like a collection, exactly. I don't want them all, the way I do with Ponies. But, as I continue to buy them every time I see them, I think they count now...
