New 2009 pony pics from Paris Toy Fair

I don't know what to say really... I definitely think they're odd looking. I MIGHT and that's a very big MIGHT get one just to check it out. I wasn't sure if I would like the Newborn Cuties or not until I bought one and really liked it, so I'll give it a chance I suppose *sighs* what is Hasbro thinking?? My husband said (as I was complaining about them) that since they are targeted towards kids they're not going to appeal to us, but it still sucks :( Poor ponies, looks like I'm sticking to Goodwill's, thrift stores, and ebay.
 
they're kinda cute, but I don't like that they have big heads. It's just not very mlp-ish in my opinion. while these may be cute, ponies with regular sized heads are MUCH cuter.
 
I must get that high on happy pills rainbow Dash!

I'm really not sure what to say. So for lack of words, here are more of the photos, thanks for sharing! I'm adding them below because the servimg website seems to be kind of flaky, at least from my computer. It won't let me view full size for several of them for some reason.

I don't like that interactive Starsong either- kinda freaky!

Folks, I think these scary-eyed ones are a little different from the first glimpse of the new style we saw - Toola Roola that Satinslipper posted. they are different, if you look at the catalog pictures- I added them below, you'll see they are different "assortments."

Looks like there is a nursery for the newborn cuties though!

Those can't be real!!! I bet the old 03'-06' pony lines will go up in price now >.< they were so cheap too -pouts-
Those scary 'Wish I was a real MLP' abominations WILL NOT come into my home!!!
 
Poor ponies. I guess that Hasbro knows what little girls are into nowadays. As I was cleaning some G1 ponies that I recently acquired, I couldn't help but notice just how great condition they were in to be 20+ years old. If we, as little girls adored and still adore the G1 ponies, why the need to completely deviate from what they started out as? Cute ponies that actually had a body shaped like a pony instead of a cross between Littlest Pet Shop and Bratz dolls. EWWW!!!:goingcrazy5B15D:

Cheerilee looks a little less freaky from that angle. Looks like they have super long tails.

Wow. You all remember when we first saw that poster that some artist did and we were all hoping Hasbro would never actually make the ponies look like that?

I feel slightly betrayed.

No thanks! Maybe Hasbro is trying to target the "younger" crowd. By this I mean the 4 years olds that think that is cute....at least mine does, anyway. They look too much like the LPS line to be MLP, at least in my opinion. Hey, maybe they're trying to integrate the two lines...blah!

I think she looks like a teddy bear. I think its kinda cute... its starsong! I LOVE HER!! lol... sorry *walks away*
