Lack of "friendship magic" didn't stop the older ponies from flying.Realistically they just don't have the correct musculature for supporting wings and for the strength those wings would need to lift a body. Like giving a human wings… we would need an extra set of pectorals, deltoids, lats, etc.
Ponies are just magic
I like how you always call her by her…last name(?) instead of her first name. Is it because “Izzy” sounds strangely human?Moonbow is starting to win me over. Darn her.
I think it means literal magic, because (lore incoming) G5 is in the same world as G4 and G4 had this whole episode where G4 Tirek was stealing magic from the ponies. He started with unicorns and then as he collected more magic he gained the ability to take Pegasus “flight” and Earth Pony “strength” as well. This also had a side effect of all of them losing their cutie-marks. This all implies flight is a kind of literal magic in the G4 universe. And before Equestria was founded, when the ponies were separated by “race,” they each still had the ability to tend the land, fly, unicorns could raise the sun and moon, etc…all while being separated and hating each other. So it’s probably not friendship magic that gives them these abilities.Lack of "friendship magic" didn't stop the older ponies from flying.
@Truly_Scrumptious That is very cute! + She's got some pretty hair, bit of a shame its not gradient, but it at least looks thick and silky.
Hasbro… do you mean to tell me Hitch ain’t gonna be brushable? Aw noEDIT #2: BRUSHABLES

Everyone but Hitch. Looks like Izzy stole his one so she can have two horns. Thief! No hitch brushable? Hasbro you cowards LOL
I think it's kind of adorable in that set that theyre wearing unicorn horn headbands.
Boys in MLP really went from “same hair as the girls” to “troll hair” to “no brushable hair at all.”Pinkie and Sunny’s dad doing some weird laughs with each other while the others look on in confusion.
I kind of like these figures but at the same time, why does Hitch keep getting kicked out of things? He’s not in the brushables club and he doesn’t get a unicorn headband
Thinking about how Sunny has the mane 6 in her room as figures, there’s gotta be something going on here. In the teaser when the new gang walked in to that tree house where the date came up on screen I did wonder if they went to Twiley’s home in Ponyville but I could be dead wrong. I haven’t seen FiM in years so my memory may be offView attachment 40189
So this set is extra interesting to me. First of all, it has nice art, I like how they have Maretime Bay and Ponyville collide in the background and the art of the Mane 6 in the bottom right is quite pretty (is…is that Imalou’s art?). However what interests me most is the the description. “Pony worlds come together!”
So what do you think, is it at all relevant to the movie or is it just a toy set with a gimmick to justify how it’s possible to package these characters together?
Oh the Golden Oak Library! That was destroyed Replaced with a kind of hideous castle (and the playset doesn’t stay together AGH. Falls apart all the time. Thank god my parents got it for me on sale back then). And I think that happened early enough in the series that G5 staff would know about it, since it happened before G5 started being developed.Thinking about how Sunny has the mane 6 in her room as figures, there’s gotta be something going on here. Wow, I missed out on a lot. I ended up not being able to keep up with the series around the time after Twiley got wings. I quite liked her Hundred Acre Wood style libraryOh the Golden Oak Library! The Mane 6 were definitely past icons that Sunny and her father looked up to, it was confirmed in the newest MLP Annual. But I have to wonder, does this set confirm there’s like…something more going on than it just being in the distant future of Equestria? Like parallel dimensions? Or do they, like…go into the past in the movie? Or is it just a “timelines collide just for this set so that we can package them together!” Thing?
What I find funny yet sad is that they didn’t even make a playset of the Golden Oak Library until after it was already gone in the show for quite a few years. I’m definitely not referring to friendship magic. I’m of the opinion that all ponies are magical. Even real live ones.Lack of "friendship magic" didn't stop the older ponies from flying.
